Immediately, Larry let out a frightened shout.
“Dad, I was the one who asked Mom to call you. Don't hit her!”
Hearing that Cole had hit Olive, Rainy was shocked. Without thinking twice, she pushed the door open and rushed into the hospital room.
“Sis! Are you okay?”
Olive stood beside Larry, covering her face while too scared to speak. Hearing Rainy's voice, her face turned even more terrible.
“It's none of your business!”
Cole turned around at the sound of Rainy's voice and glared at her.
“Who are you?”
Rainy’s eyebrows furrowed as she met his gaze.
“I am her sister. What gives you the right to hit her?”
He looked at her before he looked at Olive, raising his hand to strike her face even harder.
Rainy saw this and quickly rushed forward to block his hand, forcefully pushing it aside.
Fortunately, she had some practice with Cecilia overseas for a while and had some strength. Otherwise, this slap would have landed on her face.
