An Ran scrutinized the four girls. The cabin had been too dark earlier, and she hadn't seen their attire.
Looking at them now, aside from one dressed plainly, the other three's clothes, though somewhat dirty, indicated that their families were well-off.
She wondered how they had ended up in these people's hands.
"Hey, ladies, can anyone help untie me?"
An Ran called out softly. The four appeared listless, but their hands and feet weren't bound.
The two dazed girls didn't even glance at her upon hearing her, while the two crying ones merely looked before continuing to sob quietly, none of them stepped forward to help.
"Shut up," An Ran snapped, irritated by their resigned attitude. "What's the use of crying? Do you think crying will get us out?"
The two girls stopped crying. One of them whispered, "Then what should we do? Will not crying get us out?"
An Ran sighed, exasperated. "Can't you think of a way? Come over here and help untie me."
