As the end of the workday approached, Gu Qianxi was resting in his office when his assistant suddenly came to report.
"Dean Gu, there's a Mrs. Han outside requesting to see you."
Gu Qianxi's slightly narrowed, deep eyes abruptly opened. Then, he adjusted his clothing and sat up straight.
"Let her in!"
Moments later, Han Yan walked in, her expression visibly unpleasant.
Gu Qianxi's gaze was calm as he looked at her. "Mrs. Han, you're here to see me again?"
Han Yan angrily plopped down into the chair, her sharp eyes scrutinizing Gu Qianxi from head to toe.
He was strikingly handsome and tall. A man like this, mature and charming, spending every day with her daughter—if she developed feelings for him, it seemed inevitable.
"Dean Gu, may I be so bold as to ask, how old are you this year?" Han Yan asked directly, her heart truly troubled.
"Twenty-seven," Gu Qianxi replied flatly.
