In the living room, an eagle flew out from the corner and landed on Situ Yan's shoulder.
Situ Yan picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks and put it in the eagle's beak. The eagle immediately grabbed it and started eating, excitedly circling in the air as it did.
"I knew you were the best." Situ Yan smiled.
Jiang Xue, sitting across from him, looked at the eagle with some jealousy and said, "You seem to treat it better than anyone else."
Situ Yan laughed, "Because it's very well-behaved, right?"

As soon as the words were out, the eagle suddenly flew at Jiang Xue. Startled, Jiang Xue screamed and dodged, her hair getting messed up by the eagle's claws.
Situ Yan called out with a smile, "Shun'er, come here."
The eagle immediately stopped flapping and obediently ran to Situ Yan, perching on the sofa nearby.
He looked at her with amusement, "I told you, she's very well-behaved. You insult her, of course she's not happy!"
