[POV - Yuuki Rito]
[School courtyard - Continuation]
THUD! THUD! THUD!
The six "heroes" dragged themselves across the ground like worms after a torrential rain, each movement echoing their pathetic defeat. Cao Cao tried to get up, but his legs trembled like branches in the wind.
"This isn't over," he spat blood, his eyes still burning with stubbornness worthy of a spoiled child. "We'll be back..."
"Oh really?" I smiled, and this time there was nothing gentle about that expression. It was the smile of someone who had just lost patience with annoying flies.
SNAP!
I snapped my fingers once. The sound echoed like silent thunder through the dimensions.
WHOOOOSH!
A golden portal opened beneath each member of the Hero Faction. But it wasn't just any portal – it was a direct, forced passage that would suck them in regardless of their will.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Georg screamed, trying to cling to the ground while being pulled into the luminous vortex.
"Sending you back home," I replied casually. "And while we're at it, I'm going to have a little chat with your daddy."
Cao Cao's eyes widened in pure terror when he understood what I meant.
"No! You can't! Indra is a god! He'll..."
"He'll what?" I tilted my head, feigning curiosity. "Scold me? How cute."
VRUUUUM!
One by one, they were sucked into the portals. Siegfried disappeared first, Gram flying after him like a loyal dog. Heracles tried to resist using his tremendous strength, but it was useless – even his mountains of muscles were no match for divine will. Jeanne just laughed hysterically while being absorbed, as if madness had finally completely won her over.
Georg managed to scream one last curse before vanishing, and Connla... well, Connla left in silence, as always.
Cao Cao was the last, his fingers clawing at the ground in a desperate attempt to remain.
"You don't know who you're messing with!" he screamed. "Indra will destroy you for this!"
"Send him my regards," I waved cheerfully.
POOF!
And then only silence remained in the school courtyard. The students were still paralyzed, processing what they had just witnessed.
"Well," I turned to Asia and Mikan, who kept their angelic wings discreetly hidden. "How about we go pay our respects to Lord Indra?"
[Indra's Realm - Palace of Thunder]
BOOM! CRASH! THUD!
The six Hero Faction members were spat out by the golden portals, falling in a pathetic pile in the center of the great hall. The sound of the fall echoed through the marble columns like the obituary of their dignity.
Indra, the Hindu god of thunder and war, was seated on his majestic throne, lightning casually dancing between his fingers. His eyes narrowed upon seeing the pitiful state of his "protégés."
"Explanations," his voice rumbled like a thousand storms. "NOW."
Cao Cao tried to stand, but his legs still betrayed his defeat.
"Lord Indra... we... were attacked by..."
CRACK!
The wall behind the throne split in half when a golden portal opened. Not an ordinary portal – this one radiated an authority that made even Indra straighten in his seat.
I emerged from the portal, still in my human form, but carrying a presence that made the very air grow dense. Asia and Mikan came right behind, their angelic wings now completely visible and radiating divine light.
"Good afternoon, Indra," I greeted cordially, as if I were visiting a neighbor to borrow sugar.
THRUM!
The thunder god rose abruptly, lightning exploding around his body like an aura of war.
"WHO DARES INVADE MY DOMAIN?!"
"Ah, sorry for the invasion," I smiled politely. "I'm Yuuki Rito. I came to return some broken toys that belong to you."
I casually pointed to the six heroes scattered across the floor.
Indra's eyes moved from me to Asia and Mikan, then to the defeated "heroes," and finally back to me. I could see the gears turning in his divine mind, trying to process the impossible scene before him.
"Seraphs," he murmured, observing the girls' wings. "But that's impossible. Heaven shouldn't have enough power to..."
"To create new Seraphs?" I completed his sentence. "Well, about that..."
FWHOOSH!
I let my own divine aura leak out a little bit. Just a little bit. But it was enough to make the entire palace shake like an earthquake, and Indra... Indra took a step back.
"You..." his eyes widened in recognition and terror. "You are..."
"The new tenant of Heaven," I confirmed cheerfully. "And I must say, the security system up there needed an urgent renovation."
[Olympus - Hall of the Gods]
WHAM!
Zeus dropped the goblet of ambrosia he was holding, the golden liquid spreading across the marble table like spilled honey.
"Did you feel that?" he asked, his voice unusually serious.
Around the table, the other Olympians nodded slowly. Athena closed the book she was reading, her brow furrowed in concentration. Poseidon stopped playing with the small tsunamis he created in his palm. Even Aphrodite stopped admiring herself in the mirror.
"A divine presence," Athena murmured. "But not just any deity. This is..."
"Primordial," Hephaestus completed, his hands stopping their work at the forge for the first time in decades.
Zeus stood up, walking to the window that overlooked the infinite cosmos.
"For months, we've felt changes in Heaven. New energies, new patterns. We thought it was Michael reorganizing things after Yahweh's death."
"But Michael doesn't have that kind of power," Athena observed. "What we feel now... it's as if..."
"As if the Creator himself had returned," Zeus finished the sentence no one wanted to complete.
FLASH!
Lightning cut across the Olympian sky, but it wasn't from Zeus. It was a response from the cosmos to the gods' conversation.
"We need to investigate," Poseidon declared, his eyes reflecting the depth of the oceans. "If there really is a new Yahweh..."
"Then we need to discover his intentions," Zeus agreed. "And hope they're peaceful."
[Asgard - Valhalla Hall]
THUD!
The war hammer Odin was holding fell to the floor with a crash that echoed through the nine worlds. Huginn and Muninn, his ravens, cawed nervously on his shoulders.
"All-Father," Frigg whispered, her voice laden with concern. "What was that?"
Odin slowly stood, his single eye shining with ancestral knowledge.
"Something has awakened," he murmured, his voice carrying the weight of ages. "Something that should have remained asleep forever."
WHOOSH!
Thor appeared in a gust of wind and thunder, Mjolnir humming in his hand.
"Father! I felt a presence... something powerful..."
"I did too, my son," Odin nodded gravely. "Huginn, Muninn, fly. Discover what you can about this new force."
The ravens cawed in acknowledgment and disappeared in black clouds.
"If Ragnarok is approaching..." Thor began.
"This is not Ragnarok," Odin interrupted him. "This is something different. Something... earlier."
[Indra's Realm - Palace of Thunder - Back to the present]
GULP!
Indra swallowed hard, his lightning completely dissipating. For the first time in millennia, the god of war felt something he had forgotten: humility.
"Lord..." he began, but I raised my hand.
"Just Rito," I corrected gently. "And I didn't come here to fight, Indra. I came to clarify some things."
I walked casually through the hall, observing the impressive architecture.
"Your interior design is pretty cool, I must admit. But getting back to the subject..."
I stopped in front of the six defeated heroes, who now trembled like leaves.
"These... lovely... young people attacked my family today. Specifically, they tried to hurt Asia here."
Indra looked at Asia, who remained silent but radiated impressive angelic dignity.
"They are my responsibility," he said carefully. "If they offended the Lord..."
"Relax," I waved casually. "I'm not going to dissolve you or anything like that. This time."
The relief on Indra's face was almost comical.
"But," I continued, my voice gaining a note of steel, "if they or anyone under your protection threatens my family again..."
CRACK!
The marble floor beneath my feet cracked in perfect patterns, radiating divine power.
"Well, I think you get the idea."
Indra nodded quickly, like an enthusiastic student agreeing with the teacher.
"Perfect!" I clapped my hands cheerfully. "So, everything's clarified. Oh, and Indra?"
"Yes, Lord?"
"Next time you want to talk, just call. You don't need to send the boys."
WHOOSH!
With that, I opened another golden portal. Asia and Mikan followed me, and in seconds we were back at the school courtyard, where it all began.
"Well," I sighed, adjusting my uniform tie. "How about we go back to class? I have a math test third period."
Asia and Mikan laughed softly, their wings disappearing in golden light.
And so, a day that began with a kidnapping ended with a new cosmic understanding about who exactly Yuuki Rito was.
In the divine realms, urgent conversations were just beginning.
