Su Yan turned his gaze away and walked to the wardrobe, instinctively wanting to help her find clothes like before. It was only after he realized what he was doing that he pretended it was unintentional and just took out one of his own ties from inside. "The car is already waiting downstairs. Aren't you getting up?"
Before she could say anything, Su Yan walked out of the door: "I'm heading out first. You'll have to figure out breakfast on your own."
Yi An lowered her eyes, feeling too disheartened to do anything. Watching his departing back, she asked, "This time... how long before you come back?" Su Yan paused his steps and said after a moment of silence, "I'll be back tonight."
Yi An watched his departing figure and didn't feel any happiness at the mention of his return tonight.
Even if he came back, he would still be cold and indifferent to her, impatient with dealing with her, as if even talking to her were a hassle.
