Gently stroking the boy's head, Qin Zhan's phoenix eyes brimmed with affection, he smiled softly and whispered as if coaxing a child, "You slept for so long, feeling comfortable?"
The little head nuzzled against Qin Zhan's chest, eyes closed with starry pupils, his red lips slightly curved, "Not comfortable at all, but now I am."
Qin Zhan chuckled lightly, "Isn't it because you saw me?"
Bi Xia scoffed, "Narcissist..." He said, lifting his small head and looked at Qin Zhan with a grin, "But you were right."
Letting out a low laugh, Qin Zhan looked at the now lively boy and remembered when he first arrived and saw the boy's weak state, his heart couldn't help but ache.
With a soft sigh, Qin Zhan spoke gently, "Next time, don't scare me, okay?"
Bi Xia's eyes twinkled, and he laughed, "Were you worried? Didn't you scare me before? We're even now."
