The Lu Family's old house. As Lu Qing entered, he immediately sensed something seemed off. As soon as he stepped inside, he saw a familiar face—one he despised.
"Why are you here?"
When Lu Xingfeng saw him, his face held an expression of disdain mixed with a touch of fear.
"I came to see my father. Isn't that perfectly reasonable?"
Lu Qing sneered, his expression growing colder:
"After all these years, you've never returned even once, and now you're here? Hypocrite."
Lu Xingfeng grew agitated, quickly turning to Old Sir Lu and saying:
"Dad, look at this unfilial son, saying such things to his own father! It's completely outrageous. How could you entrust the Lu Family to someone like him?"
Old Sir Lu coughed violently, clearly enraged.
Lu Xingfeng pretended to step forward and lightly patted his back, only to have his hand slapped away:
"Lu Qing is right! You abandoned your wife all these years—why would you come back now?"
