Ji Wei frantically knocked on the door.
No one came to open the door, so she pressed the doorbell. After it rang three times, she heard the sound of the lock turning, and then the door opened.
A young man appeared before her, dressed casually in a hoodie and jeans, yet looking neat and proper.
"Where's Duoduo?"
Without waiting for the young man to answer, Ji Wei stepped past him and walked straight inside.
The air in the room was stuffy, carrying the smell of instant noodles and beer. Ji Wei couldn't help but wrinkle her nose.
The blanket on the sofa was crumpled into a messy ball. A half-eaten box of instant noodles sat on the coffee table, and several empty beer cans were haphazardly tossed on the floor.
What is going on here?
"Sorry... It's a bit messy." The young man, noticing Ji Wei's grim expression, quickly grabbed the nearby trash bin and threw the instant noodle box inside, then bent over to pick up the beer cans.
