Xia Duoduo poured herself another glass, downing it in one go, slamming the glass onto the bar counter with a loud thud. She turned abruptly, grabbed Ji Wei's hand, and, with quivering lips, started sobbing, "The Great Demon King is gone... he dumped me on another agent and ran away!"
"What's that supposed to mean? I'm clearly his artist, yet he treats me like an object, tossing me around like this. It's so irresponsible!"
By the end of her rant, Xia Duoduo was full of righteous indignation, clenching her fists as she shot up from her stool.
Ji Wei, worried she might fall, quickly stood up as well, steadying Xia Duoduo by the arm. "Mr. Ye left so suddenly? Where did he go?"
Xia Duoduo's eyes were red and swollen as she shook her head. "I don't know either."
She sniffled. "If I did know, I'd definitely chase after him! I think he's doing it on purpose, trying to avoid me. Does he think I'm the most useless one among all his artists, and that's why he doesn't care anymore?"
