Shi Ye turned his head and gave Nan Huiru a deep glance, his expression looking as if he were staring at a lunatic.
For all his years of practicing medicine, this was the first time he'd encountered such a bizarre patient's family member.
Aunt Zhu hurriedly stepped forward to explain, "Mrs. Nan, Madam really is pregnant. If you don't believe it, you can ask Dr. Shi here."
Nan Huiru looked at Shi Ye doubtfully.
Shi Ye, however, couldn't be bothered to deal with her. He went straight to measuring Ji Wei's temperature and conducting an examination, instructing the nurse beside him to take notes.
"Mrs. Gu, stay calm, rest in bed, and recuperate. If anything happens, just press the call bell," Shi Ye advised.
"Dr. Shi, how much longer do I need to stay in the hospital?" Ji Wei asked.
"At least a week. The fetus is still unstable, so it's safer to observe for a while to ensure its well-being," Shi Ye replied flatly.
"Alright, thank you, Dr. Shi."
Ji Wei gave him a small smile.
