"I'm sorry."
Ji Wei lowered her lashes and said with a guilty heart.
She hadn't expected to actually bite Mo Qian, and to bite him so hard at that.
"Why apologize? It doesn't hurt at all." Mo Qian looked into her glistening eyes and smiled warmly.
Ji Wei felt even more unsettled.
"Come on, just a few more tests left. Hang in there." Mo Qian took her hand.
Ji Wei followed his steps, staring at the tall and upright figure in front of her as her eyes suddenly grew red.
After the tests were done, Mo Qian took Ji Wei back to the VIP hospital room.
She sat on the sofa while he crouched down before her, holding her little hand resting on her knees. Speaking as gently as if coaxing a daughter, he said, "Besides sweets, what else do you want to eat? I'll go get it."
Ji Wei froze for a moment and blurted out, "...spicy sour noodles."
She just craved sour and spicy food.
Her appetite had really been strange lately.
