Chapter 353: Tang San It Must Be Destruction's Doing
Most gods who had children before ascending to the Divine Realm couldn't bring them all up due to the Divine Realm's laws.
For Seagod Tang San, his desire for a second child was simple
To strengthen his control over the Divine Realm.
With his current power, he could only control two divine thrones.
If he had two children, the Tang family would control more divine positions, further solidifying his influence.
In the best case scenario, he hoped all divine king positions would eventually be occupied by his family.
However, the one thing he regretted was miscalculating his plan for his seventh child.
Years ago, he had foreseen the birth of an extraordinary genius on Douluo Continent.
His original plan was to have his seventh child marry that genius, using their relationship to bind the genius to him.
Then, through various tests and "training", he would fully tame the genius, turning them into one of his greatest subordinates.
Since this plan was so easy to implement, he lowered his expectations for his seventh child's individual strength, neglecting their personal cultivation.
After all, with a talented son in law leading the charge, his daughter's own power wasn't as important.
However, since his seventh child would need a divine throne, he personally requested the Butterfly God to bestow the Light Goddess Butterfly martial soul upon her, pre selecting her as the next Butterfly God.
But
There was a problem.
He couldn't find the genius.
It was as if the boy had mysteriously vanished.
Tang San had tried many methods to locate him, but all had failed.
Tang San blamed this on Destruction God interfering.
Their relationship was already bad, so it wouldn't be surprising if Destruction had intentionally hidden the genius from him.
If his seventh child were his only main force, then the Butterfly God's divine throne would be far from enough.
After all, the Butterfly God was only a Secondary God.
On the mortal plane, a Secondary God was invincible.
But in the Divine Realm, a Secondary God was far too weak.
Frankly, among the Shrek Seven Devils, aside from himself and Xiao Wu, all the others were Secondary Gods.
This dissatisfied him.
He even disdained them a little.
The gap between a Primary God and a Secondary God was simply too large.
If Dai Mubai and the others had all become Primary Gods, then his current situation would be much easier.
"I wonder when Hongjun will finally become a Primary God."
"He's the Phoenix God! A god powerful enough to severely wound the Dragon God!"
"The Phoenix God's throne is undoubtedly a Divine King's position. Even though it's in a damaged state, it still has the potential to become a Primary God."
"I've already given him so much time. If he still hasn't broken through, it's definitely because he isn't working hard enough!"
"Looks like I'll have to start pushing him more. After all, I've done so much for him. I've given him a great debt of gratitude he should repay it by reaching Primary God as soon as possible and assisting me."
Tang San's thoughts swirled with frustration.
Suddenly
He sensed that two of his divine consciousness nodes on the mortal plane had been breached.
This meant that the faith power he had gathered from human soul masters had very likely fallen into someone else's hands.
His expression twisted in fury, his breathing grew erratic his rage was unmistakable.
Beside him, Xiao Wu noticed his contorted face and blinked in concern.
"San ge, why do you look so awful? What happened?"
Tang San tried to compose himself, forcing his expression to soften slightly before replying,
"Xiao Wu, the seals I placed have been broken. I need to leave immediately to investigate and find out who is behind this."
He then looked at her apologetically.
"Xiao Wu, I'll be back soon. The seals I placed are crucial for maintaining Douluo Star's peace and stability. Now that two have been broken, it means that Douluo Star could be in danger."
Xiao Wu frowned in worry.
"San ge, should I go with you?"
"No need." Tang San shook his head.
"Xiao Wu, don't worry. Nothing on Douluo Star is a threat to me. I'll return soon."
With that, he left the palace immediately.
Douluo Star Outer Atmosphere
Tang San hovered above Douluo Star, his Seagod Divine Armor shining brilliantly, his presence commanding.
As a Law Enforcing God, it was normal for him to inspect the planets under the Divine Realm's rule.
However
Because of the Divine Realm's laws, he wasn't allowed to interfere unless a major crisis occurred.
It wasn't that he personally cared about following the rules
The problem was that Destruction God was watching him closely.
This meant he had to sneak around carefully, ensuring that his actions weren't exposed.
And
His faith power collection scheme was already questionable.
As the Seagod, oceanic faith power rightfully belonged to him no one could dispute that.
But faith power from Douluo's human soul masters?
That wasn't supposed to belong to him.
If Destruction caught him, he would definitely explode with rage at the next Divine Realm Committee meeting.
And if that happened, Tang San's carefully built reputation in the Divine Realm would suffer another major hit.
Even as he maintained a facade of conducting a routine planetary inspection, his divine consciousness split
One part of his mind entered the broken divine consciousness nodes to investigate.
Unlike the rigid, programmed divine consciousness nodes, this projection carried his own awareness.
In the past, his nodes had contained some of his personal thoughts
But ever since Destruction gained control of the Divine Realm Core and arrested his parents, Tang San had retrieved his thoughts from them.
Otherwise, if Destruction ever got curious and decided to personally inspect Douluo Star, he might discover Tang San's faith power scheme and erase everything.
Moments later, his consciousness reached the divine consciousness nodes and entered the subdimension
Only to find
Nothing.
The subdimension was completely empty.
His eyes widened in shock.
"Where are the faith power crystals?!
"That damn thief they actually took everything?!"
His breath caught in his throat.
Those crystals represented ten thousand years of accumulation he had never used them.
They were meant for his parents to make them stronger, ensuring they became powerful allies under his command.
But now
Everything was gone.
In a desperate frenzy, he began scanning for any traces of the thief.
But
He found nothing.
His expression darkened further, his hands clenched into tight fists.
"It must have been Destruction.
"There are no gods on Douluo Star, and unlocking my divine consciousness nodes requires extremely specific conditions."
"Only Destruction has both the power and motive to steal my faith power!"
His rage erupted.
"Destruction God, you've gone too far!"
