"Ice Bear King and Titan Snow Demon King," Huo Yuhao murmured to himself, recalling what he knew about these two powerful beasts.
The former had a straightforward and naive personality, often doing amusing things, whereas the latter, though limited in vision due to its prolonged isolation in the Extreme North, had far superior mental resilience compared to the Ice Bear King.
In many ways, Ice Bear King was like an overgrown child.
"Snow Empress!" Titan Snow Demon King called out respectfully, before lowering itself into a seated position, looking up at her with reverence.
"A Tai," Snow Empress acknowledged with a nod.
Ice Bear King, on the other hand, was far less formal. It rushed straight to Snow Empress, rolling on the ground playfully, acting nothing like a fearsome 200,000 year old beast. Instead, it resembled an affectionate puppy.
Snow Empress smiled warmly, reaching out to pat Ice Bear King's head. "Xiao Bai, I feel like you've put on weight again. Last time I saw you, you weren't this round."
Ice Bear King froze, then immediately started wondering if it had indeed gained weight. What if Snow Empress distanced herself because of it? Having been raised by Snow Empress since childhood, it was extremely attached to her.
After thinking for a moment, it nervously replied, "Snow Empress, I… I have been eating a bit more lately. But if you think I'm too fat, I can start eating less!"
