Chapter 263 - Chapter 257 Revenge or Love

Three months after their daughter Jarin left, Korean city Seoul Alia decided to calm herself by playing golf. Against the scenic backdrop of the Lotte World Tower, she practiced in a white polo shirt and a pink skirt. frame moved gracefully as she took a swing, imagining the perfect shot in her mind.

Victor's presence:

In one corner of the field sat Victor here seen as Lord Alexei relaxing on a comfortable sofa. He wore his familiar, finely crafted white shirt. Holding a glass of drink in his hand, he seemed lost in deep thought, perhaps wondering how to ask about Alia's state of mind.

The accident:

When Alia attempted "one last shot," she suddenly lost control. The ball flew straight and struck Victor on the nose! With a sharp sound, it hit his face and blood immediately began to flow. Victor's bodyguards shouted in alarm and rushed toward him, but although he bent over in pain, Victor tried to remain calm.

Alia's reaction:

Deeply embarrassed and terrified, Alia ran to Victor. Covering her mouth, she said, "Oh husband, I'm truly sorry!" Inside, she feared Victor might think she had done it intentionally.

A quiet answer:

As Alia examined Victor's wound, she noticed a special mark on the ball. Victor gently placed his hand over hers. Looking into Alia's eyes, he spoke softly:

"Pain comes only from accidents. But I think you've already answered my question, my wife."

Alia let out a sigh of relief. She realized that this small accident had quietly reduced the emotional distance that had been building between them. Beneath the crimson evening sky, the bond of love and trust between them grew stronger once again. The wound on Victor's nose had barely healed when Alia decided to return to the field. This time she felt more confident, but Victor still carried the lingering fear that the earlier hit might not have been entirely accidental.

The sun leaned toward the horizon, painting the sky with shades of purple and orange. Alia stood tall—her 6-foot-2 frame steady—as she tightened her grip on the golf club again. She wore the same pink skirt and white T-shirt.

Victor sat on the sofa a little farther away this time, holding his nose cautiously.

Victor:

"Alia, please don't aim in my direction this time. I only have one nose. If it breaks, it'll be hard for the Don of the Romanov empire to show his face."

Alia laughed. There was a strange tenderness in that smile. She looked at Victor and gave him a playful wink.

Alia:

"Victor, you know I never miss my target. The last one was just an 'accident.' Now watch I'll send the ball straight into the hole."

With full strength, Alia swung the club.

Whack!

The ball soared into the air. Victor immediately set his drink on the table and covered his face with both hands. His bodyguards stepped forward instinctively, ready to shield him if necessary.

But this time there was no blood.

The ball traveled perfectly across the field and stopped just a short distance from the hole. Alia walked toward Victor with a triumphant expression.

Alia:

"See? If I want, I can destroy… and if I want, I can strike the target perfectly. Just like how I captured your heart."

Victor slowly lowered his hands and looked at her. He realized she had been teasing him all along—trying to break the fear he still carried from the earlier accident.

He pulled Alia closer and gently squeezed her hand.

Victor:

"You're truly formidable, Alia. Your determination and precision are what make you different from everyone else. But next time, if the ball comes toward me again… I won't forgive youAt the beautiful golf course in Seoul, the majestic spire of Lotte World Tower could be seen in the distance. Alia took her position with her 6-foot-2 frame standing tall. Dressed in a white shirt and a pink skirt, she looked extremely confident.

Victor was relaxing a short distance away on an expensive sofa. He knew Alia seemed a little distracted today she had not seen her eldest daughter, Jarin, for three months.

1. The First Mistaken Shot

When Alia took her first swing, the ball flew straight toward Victor and struck him on the nose! Blood immediately began to run down from the impact.

Alia rushed toward him in panic.

Alia:

"Oh God! Victor, I'm really sorry! I had no idea the ball would come this way."

Victor tried to wipe the blood from his nose and replied calmly,

Victor:

"It's alright, Alia. It was an accident. But please try to be a little more careful this time."

2. The Second Mistake & A Romantic Moment

Alia returned to the field again, trying to be even more careful. But strangely, the ball missed its target once more and flew directly into Victor's body!

Victor groaned slightly in pain.

Embarrassed again, Alia hurried to him. Placing her hand gently on him, she said softly,

Alia:

"Sorry…"

Her eyes held a mixture of guilt and affection.

Just as Alia was about to leave, Victor reached out and held her hand. There was deep trust and a sense of possession in his eyes.

Victor (in a deep, steady voice):

"Come back soon, my mafia godmother."

Alia looked into Victor's eyes. That familiar royal smile returned to her face.

Alia:

"Of course I will, Russian mafia lord."

The golf course had turned into a literal battlefield for Alia and Victor. No matter how hard Alia tried, accidents kept happening.

The late afternoon sky of Seoul hung low as Alia, with her commanding frame, once again gripped the golf club. Victor had moved quite a distance away, sitting on a sofa with an ice pack in his hand, trying to stay out of the line of fire.

1. The Fifth Mishap

Alia took four shots with extreme focus, but somehow, all four times the ball managed to strike Victor. But she wasn't one to back down. For the fifth time, she took a powerful swing "Whack!". The ball took a bizarre curve through the air and landed directly on Victor's already injured nose!

Blood began to flow from Victor's nose once again. Wincing in pain, he shot up from his chair.

2. Alia's Laughter and the Tissue Paper

Instead of feeling embarrassed this time, Alia couldn't hold back her laughter. She came running toward Victor, giggling uncontrollably. She pulled some expensive tissue paper from her bag and began dabbing the blood from his nose.

Alia: (Laughing) "Oh, Victor! I truly don't understand! Is your nose a magnet? Why do all my balls keep landing right there?"

3. Victor's Romantic Rage

Victor was genuinely frustrated now, but it was a rage fueled by deep possessiveness and love. He snatched the tissue from Alia's hand and tossed it away. Seeing her enchanting, mischievous smile only fueled his fire.

Victor: "That's enough! You are done playing golf. You're taking more shots at my nose than at the course!"

Before Alia could process what was happening, Victor swept her off her feet with his powerful arms, picking her up suddenly. Surprised, Alia wrapped her arms around his neck. Victor marched out of the field and headed straight toward their regal Rolls-Royce.

4. The Moment Inside the Car

Victor stepped into the back seat of the car while still holding Alia in his arms. Instead of letting her go, he kept her perched firmly on his lap. As the door slammed shut, Victor stared intensely into Alia's eyes.

Victor: (In a deep, stern voice) "your heart, not from a golf course. Now, we are going straight home."

Alia: (Resting her hand on his cheek with a smirk) "I'll certainly be there, Russian Mafia Lord. But remember my aim is never truly off!Alia then walked to her luxurious Rolls‑Royce Phantom and sat inside. She knew she had to return for this empire of hers, and for her unpredictable lord
