Hikari goes to Aigawa and he then tells Aigawa that they beat all the monsters with a help from her army. But there's something that they found after they defeated the monster and he wanted to show it to her. Maybe she knows something about it.
Hikari then holds out an object that looks like a broken horn. But that horn is wrapped by a dark power. It seems like there's something about it is really wrong. So Aigawa is then going to pick it up and clean it with her magic. However, even before she could touch it, a black aura pushed her away and Aigawa tried to hold her position from getting blown away. Aikari, who was watching from Hikari's side, also got pushed by it. But it's only Hikari who is holding it still standing there.
Suddenly they heard a voice coming out from that horn.
"It's impossible. How could a human like you could stand my power? Just what the hell are you. Oh, it's you. It has always been you. The one who beat me up like it was nothing."
The horn blew up and formed a shadow. Hikari then just stands still and looks at what that horn is going to say. He could feel an energy. A wave of an energy that is the same as the one he has fought before. Is it the one that Mika fought back then?
A big black shadow then stood before him and he then pointed at Hikari and talked about how tough he is. He tells Hikari that he wonders if Hikari could defeat him if he challenges Hikari now.
Hearing that, Hikari then took out his weapon and his left arm formed a sword and he then asked that shadow what kind of name he should call him before he killed him. Just in case he needs to make a funeral for him.
The shadow then laughed, and he then formed a sword from a black fire and then struck at Hikari with a speed of light. But as he hit Hikari, Hikari was able to parry his attack and said, "You really have no manners, do you? Striking without even introducing yourself yet." Hikari moved his left arm and slashed the sword on his arm to the shadow, and the shadow then somehow was able to dodge it, and he then strikes at Hikari with a super speed again. Hikari then kept on the pace and fought with it.
From the speed of the shadow, Hikari could tell that it was really talented. But the things that he didn't know are, how long can that shadow keep up on it?
So Hikari then opened a portal behind him and disappeared. That shadow could see that Hikari is gone, and he then began to search for Hikari around him, but he couldn't see anything other than Aikari and Aigawa.
The shadow laughed and he said, "Is that how you wanted to fight? By running away?" As the shadow says that so, suddenly he couldn't move. Shocked by it, the shadow then tried his best to at least walk. But he couldn't.
Before he knew it, he lost both legs. The shadow fell to the ground and crawled up. He began to cast something and the area around them was covered by the shadow. All of those shadows got absorbed into his body and he then awakened once again. The shadow then tried to cast something. But he couldn't. Each time he was trying to, the spell disappeared before he could spell it.
The shadow then saw Hikari up in the sky, and he quickly dashed towards Hikari. Aikari and Aigawa saw that the land on where that shadow stand got crushed as when it dashed towards Aikari. They could see how strong that shadow is by that.
Hikari then began to fight with the shadow up in the sky, and as they were fighting, Hikari then asked the shadow, "Is this just the ability that you have to fight with me?" Hikari laughed, and it caused the shadow to get triggered by it. The shadow then hit Hikari's body, but Hikari didn't move an inch, and Hikari then quickly kicked the shadow, and his sword then formed a bigger sword. Hikari points it on the shadow and says "So now, I did remember who you are. Up for revenge? Sorry but that won't happen." Hikari then dashed towards the shadow and before the shadow could block it, Hikari's sword went through its body. The shadow tried to regenerate its body back, but he couldn't. He felt powerless, and he then tried to attack Hikari.
"HARGH!"
"SWISH"
Before he knew it, his body was apart and he couldn't even recover himself. He was so weird about it as it was the first time it ever happened.
That shadow disappeared. So Hikari signed in a glad and as he was about to go to Aigawa and Hikari, he saw a lot of shadows begin to appear, and before they knew it, it seemed like the place that they were standing had changed into another place. Hikari could see a black aura everywhere he stood. He could see that Aigawa and Aikari were ready to battle. But he then opened the portal to another place and pushed Aikari and Aigawa to that portal, leaving him alone there.
Hikari then stood before the countless shadows around him and he just laughed.
"Is this a trap that you have prepared so far to kill me, Mr. Shadow?"
Suddenly a part of metal on Hikari's left arm began to extend and a countless amount of white trails began to burst out from it.
All the shadows back up a bit as they get hit by the trails that are spreading around. All of them got pushed by the force coming from it, and they all then saw Hikari held out his sword on his right hand and as the sword began to glow, Hikari then began to take them out one by one.
Hikari's movements are too fast and with the current situation they're in right now, they weren't able to see from where Hikari is coming at them. So they all then just backed down and blocked themselves with their arms.
As Hikari is taking them out one by one, he asks the shadow.
"I don't know who you are. But I just wanted to know, why did you do this? What in the world do you seek for?"
The leader of the shadows then replied.
"We're here to rule over this world. To wipe out everything of this world and send them all to revive the Chaos King."
When Hikari heard about the Chaos King, he then asked back. He wasn't sure which one of the shadows was the leader who said that since they all look exactly the same. So Hikari then stands before all of them and all the trails that are bursting are gone.
All the shadows could see Hikari and Hikari then ask them.
"Which one of you is the leader? Come out and talk with me."
But all of them then began to dash towards Hikari and as they hit Hikari, none of them saw blood or even a scratch on his body.
Hikari then fought with all of them and made them fall to the ground. Their bodies are different and their speed is on another level. But as Hikari made each of them fall, Hikari then transformed his sword into a bow and charged an attack towards them.
As Hikari released the bow and it hit the ground, a big explosion happened. But it's more like an electricity explosion. All the shadows wanted to run, but somehow they all got pulled by an electric that came out from that attack.
As Hikari saw, they're all stuck. He then got down and asked the shadows once again "I know it's weird to ask a lot of questions. But may I know who sent you here? And why did you're after the Queen?" Finally, a shadow who is beginning to fall after its effort to run away failed, replied to Hikari,
"It was none of your concern. We're here to save our beloved Lord. We're here to serve him and we will dominate the world with him. That Queen seems to have an ability that would let us revive our Lord. So we will need to take her to our place."
Hearing that they have a hideout, Hikari then walked to the shadow army and asked them about the hideout and why don't they just tried to convince and asked Aigawa normally at first. Upon hearing that from Hikari, they all then make a weird face. But somehow there's a truth in it.
However, they then just replied it back by saying that none of the people from their side would beg someone to help them. Plus, they're not that weak to just give up on anyone.
The shadow still struggles to move and hit Hikari. He saw that Hikari was trying to get closer to him, and he could feel a danger from it that he pushed himself to attack Hikari. But he doesn't have any strength to do so. When Hikari gets closer, Hikari then kills the leader by swinging his heavy sword to its body.
As the leader's body got apart, Hikari saw a dark glowing crystal come out from it. Hikari was looking at it in shock as he saw that.
"Wait, no way.... This is not dark crystal, right?"
Hikari looked at it and he then quickly drew his sword and cut the crystal. Usually it would just turn into a piece and go. But this time, Hikari could see a small dark hole pulling it in as it turned into a piece. Hikari wanted to investigate that dark hole, but it's gone before he could do anything.
Hikari then just let it be and he saw everything turn back to normal. So Hikari then returned to the castle. But as he returned to the castle, he saw that there was a little mess there and Aigawa and Aikari were looking outside the window together as something was about to happen.
So Hikari then goes to then and asks about what happened there. Both Aigawa and Aikari looked at him and they then asked Hikari if he knew where he teleported them when he pushed them to that portal.
So Hikari then told them that he had just teleported them to where he remembered it was safe. So all he could remember is Aigawa's castle. That then made both of them stressed by it and Aikari then told Hikari that he was hoping it would be something special that he would tell them.
As Hikari was paying attention to them, he then realized that their clothes were drenched. He then just started to think if it was his fault. He giggled a bit because of that and finally asked them about it "Um... What happened to your clothes?" As Hikari asked them about that, Hikari then quickly got an answer about that.
As he expected, it must be because of the teleportation that he used all of a sudden. He even pushed them to that portal like nothing happened anyway. Maybe by the time they went inside that portal, they just happened to bump into someone or something that caused that. Hikari was so sure that he would open that portal on Aigawa's castle main hall. But well, things happen. He then apologized to Aikari and Aigawa about that.
Aikari then took off her jacket and asked Hikari if they should go return to their place. Hikari said that maybe it was time for them to return and Hikari then told Aigawa about that. But he did tell Aigawa to continue to behave about the things that are going to happen around. Because even he couldn't see that the other side might stop attacking. The side that they're going to fight seems to be related to someone he has fought before.
When Aigawa heard about that, it just reminded her of Yami, the person who traveled from a world to another like Hikari to gain a different kind of power. But unlike Hikari, his reason to gain such a power is different and the reason to have it was different.
Hikari used to be on the same track before, but it all changed when he met Ray.
