The next morning, when Evenly woke up, Rav had already left the bed and she looked around the room but there was no sign of him. Memories of everything that had happened last night came flooding back to her. But even as she recalled it, she felt not a single ounce of regret. Instead, she found herself smiling, knowing she would carry the memory with her wherever she went from here.
She was about to get off the bed and leave his room before he comes back when she heard the door opened and he stepped in.
"You're awake," Rav stated as he walked into his room with a tray of blood tea in hand. He set it aside on the stool at the bedside, then straightened, unable to meet her eyes as she looked up at him from the bed.
