They knew that if the Mittel Clan was annihilated, the next targets would be the Mu Clan, the Alchemist Association, and the Imperial Family.
These forces understood this as well.
That was why once the Alchemist Association intervened the Imperial Family and Mu Clan had no choice but to follow.
Of course, if Fa Ma had not acted first, then neither the Imperial Family nor the Mu Clan would have stepped in to aid the Mittel Clan.

With his command, the Yun Lan Sect surged forward, surrounding the enemy from all sides.
The five Dou Emperors immediately engaged the three Great Elders of the Snake Tribe.
The eight Commanders clashed with the Yun Lan Sect's forces on the ground.
As the battlefield erupted once again, Yue Mei landed beside Ya Fei and asked urgently.
"We can't stay here. The Yun Lan Sect will send more reinforcements. We need to retreat now!"
Ya Fei nodded.
Even with the Snake Tribe's help, if the Yun Lan Sect had more hidden forces, they would still be doomed.
This entire trap had been set up too perfectly they had to assume that the Yun Lan Sect still had another card to play.
Their only option was to retreat.
Ya Fei, Yao Ye, Fa Ma, and the others agreed on this course of action.

A chilling voice suddenly echoed in their ears, sending shivers down their spines.
"You little girls... do you really think you can escape?"
The eerie voice was bone chilling.
And then
A white haired elder suddenly materialized before them.
It was none other than the ever smirking Yun Leng.
But something was different.
His voice was even colder than before.
And then
From the empty space beside him, a pitch black shadow flickered into view.
As it emerged, a wave of dread washed over the battlefield.
Everyone's eyes widened in horror.
