The night was silent, and moonlight bathed the elegant residence in a peaceful glow.
At that moment, two shadowy figures crept past a particular room's doorway.
Even their silhouettes, cast by the moonlight, revealed their incredibly alluring figures curvaceous, graceful, and undeniably feminine.
Their expressions, however, were filled with embarrassment.
Each of them had originally planned to secretly eavesdrop on their own but to their surprise, they had run into each other.
Their eyes met, and they immediately understood so it was true.
As women, their sixth sense had already told them something was off earlier in the day.
Now that their suspicions were confirmed, they felt both awkward and… a little intrigued.
These two weren't just any women.
They were the owner of the residence, Ruo Lin, and her student, Xiao Yu.
And together, they had stealthily made their way to Wu Tian and Xun'er's room.
Well, "stealthily" might not be the best word.
After all, they had already "passed by" the door at least three or four times.
Yet, despite their efforts, they hadn't heard a single sound from inside.
A man and a woman, alone in a room together, after months apart shouldn't they be doing something… exciting?

She glanced mischievously at Wu Tian, while Wu Tian simply looked helpless.
These two were supposed to be gentle, refined women yet here they were, engaging in such a shameless act in the middle of the night!
If they were going to do this, could they at least be more discreet?
Not only had Xun'er noticed them, but even his Cai Lin had picked up on it and she had quite the habit of biting when she was displeased!
Wu Tian hadn't even done anything wrong!
Why was he always the one suffering?!

Meanwhile, the man's eyes were filled with pure hostility, eager to strike sparks in this encounter though he seemed to be the only one feeling it.
"Leave her."
The white robed man's voice was calm and ethereal.
Wu Tian chuckled and tilted his head. "Hmm? Who are you talking about?"
His indifferent tone nearly made the white robed man fall off the pile of rubble.
The hell kind of question is that?!
Xun'er was an absolute goddess, and she was in his arms yet he had the audacity to ask who he was talking about?!
"Xun'er, of course. A weakling like you does not deserve her!"
Silver Dou Qi surged in the man's palm, crackling like thunder.
Wu Tian shrugged and sighed.
"Ah~ you must be that… Bai Something Shan, right? I was almost going to let you off since at least you know your place."
"But your name… Bai Shan… White Collapsing Mountain… sounds like you deserve a beating."
In the darkness, Bai Shan sneered coldly.
He didn't understand what Wu Gan meant, but one thing was clear Wu Gan was calling him weak.
And Bai Shan was not weak!
With a sharp stomp, he launched himself off the rubble, transforming into a streak of silver light that shot toward Wu Tian like lightning.
Wu Tian sighed.
"Well… you threw the first punch."
Silver Dou Qi blazed through the air, and Bai Shan's fist was about to smash into Wu Tian's face
But before it could land, Wu Tian casually extended a single finger and stopped the attack effortlessly.
He hadn't even used Dou Qi.
Bai Shan's expression froze in horror.
He threw another punch
Blocked. Again.
Before he could react, Wu Tian flicked his finger.
Boom!
Bai Shan was instantly sent flying, slamming back into the very pile of rubble he had so proudly stood on earlier.
The shattered stones buried him completely.
Bai Shan: …
Can we at least fight with some honor?!
