Chapter 162 - Aurelón crash out (162)

Aurelón was having the biggest crash-out known to man. After bursting out of the training area, his eyes were filled with anger.

Why was he underprepared for this shit?

He was meant to be the strongest, so why the fuck was his sister... giving him problems?

She was strong, okay—but she wasn't supposed to be stronger than him.

He should be the strongest.

Letting his Reiatsu run loose, his eyes turned a deep shade of red as the power of the devil flowed through him. Though, luckily for him, for the most part, its consciousness wasn't there—virtue of a very overprotective dad. Still, he was pissed.

His Reiatsu reduced anything around him to nothing more than ash... literal ash.

Killing everything in sight, reducing everything within a 200-foot radius to nothing more than fucking dust.

His Reiatsu was cutting holes in the fabric of space around him...

"I'm the eldest," he snarled to himself. "I'm the heir. I'm supposed to be the strongest."

He raised a hand—and the wall across from him exploded into fine powder, crumbling like sand under the weight of his fury.

"Why—why can't I—why can't I be ENOUGH?!"

The ground cracked beneath him, spiderwebbing outward with unstable Reiryoku. The very soul matter in the air bent to his tantrum, like everything around him knew: this was no ordinary power surge.

It was a crash.

A bloodline-induced meltdown.

And then—

BZZZT—BOOM!

A flash of Sonido tore across the horizon, and a new figure landed gracefully on the only unburnt tile left.

Snakes of flame danced around his limbs.

Golden eyes full of mischief.

A sharp grin blooming on his face.

"Well, damn, big bro," said Víborran Malnato Sanguinoso, casually walking through the smoldering destruction as if it were no more serious than spilled juice. "You havin' a full-blown toddler meltdown or what?"

Aurelón didn't answer.

Didn't look.

Didn't breathe.

He was shaking.

Power still flaring off him in unstable pulses.

So Víborran cocked his head, then whistled low. "You turned the entire koi pond into steam. Mom's gonna be pissed."

Still no answer.

So naturally, he poked the bear.

"Should I get you a pacifier?" he asked. "Maybe a blankie? You want me to warm up your bottle, Big Baby Brother?"

Aurelón's brow twitched.

Deciding to poke the bear harder, Víborran created a pacifier... and placed it right on Aurelón's lips...

...oh damn.

Aurelón turned around to look at his little brother.

Did this bitch just put a damn pacifier in his mouth like he was a damn baby?

Who the fuck did he think he was?

"Keep this up, and I'm telling Daddy."

That got a reaction.

"You wouldn't dare—"

"Oh, I absolutely would," Víborran beamed. "And I'd tell him everything. 'Daddy, Aurelón broke the training grounds, burned all the trees, killed five hell-snakes and said bad words.' I'll even cry a little so I look cute."

Aurelón's red eyes blinked.

Twitched.

Then shifted from red to the golden color they usually were.

"You're evil," he muttered, fury slipping into exasperation.

"Facts," Víborran said proudly. "I get it from Mom."

He had definitely gotten his mom's trickery—it was fun messing with his brothers.

"You came just to mock me?"

"I came 'cause I felt your Reiryoku spasm like a goddamn earthquake," Víborran said, rolling his shoulders. "Seriously, bro. You gotta chill. You're starting to smell like burnt ego."

"...You wouldn't understand," Aurelón muttered.

Víborran raised an eyebrow. "I am the heir, of course I should be the strongest—who else but me?"

He even added a mocking nerd voice for good measure.

Aurelón felt his brow twitch at that.

"...I hate when you do that," he muttered.

"I know," Víborran said with a smug look. "That's why it feels so good."

Aurelón sighed, allowing it—for now.

"Let's get out of here before someone blames this on me."

"Oh, don't worry," Víborran grinned. "I already left a note. Told Mom that Leonido did it."

Aurelón paused.

Then actually smiled.

"...You are the worst."

"And you love me."

So Gabriel looked at the damage done by his son. The first layer of Hell was way too freaking hot nowadays, and he had a sneaking suspicion it had something to do with his oldest son's shenanigans.

It just had to.

There were no ifs, ands, or buts about it—it had to be his oldest throwing a tantrum.

What was it this time? Not getting priority on Mom's titties?

Well, suck on that, sucker. The second he started being able to eat food by himself—as in chew and all—the titties now belonged to Gabriel and Gabriel alone.

All his.

Yes, he was competing with his son over his wife's tits... suck it.

"I assume you saw the outburst," Gabriel murmured.

"I didn't need to. The spiritual pressure nearly collapsed ten of my defense zones," Lucius replied calmly, folding his arms. "If we weren't in Hell, that spike would've torn the atmosphere apart."

Gabriel raised a brow, his tone amused. "Dramatic much?"

Lucius didn't flinch. "I'm not being dramatic, your majesty. Your heir... is quite unstable. I apologize if I sound rude."

He turned slightly, sharp blue eyes narrowing.

"Aurelón is powerful. Unreasonably so. But that power doesn't belong to him yet—it's a wild beast, and he's just the leash. If he loses control like that again in combat? His allies burn. His enemies burn. He burns."

Gabriel let that sit for a moment. Then exhaled slowly.

"...He's my son."

Lucius's lips pressed into a thin line. "I know."

He looked out at the distance, where the sky still flickered faintly red with residual energy.

"But he's also a ticking bomb with primordial heat threaded into his soul. There's more than just your powerful, magnificent Hellfire and Lady Harribel's water in him. I sensed it. Something ancient. Something that doesn't want to be controlled."

Gabriel said nothing.

Lucius adjusted his glasses, calm but firm.

"You'll need to train him yourself. Or seal him. If you don't, that power will consume everything. Including him."

With that, Lucius bowed faintly and left—vanishing in a blur of refracted space.

SCENE SHIFT – PRIVATE HALLWAY, HELL PALACE

Harribel stood silently in the shadow of a grand obsidian pillar, arms crossed tightly over her chest, golden eyes dark with concern. Her expression didn't shift as Gabriel approached—at least not visibly—but he could feel it in her aura.

She was worried.

No, she was terrified.

Gabriel reached her slowly.

"Harribel."

She didn't speak.

Her lips were drawn into a fine, unreadable line, but he could see the turmoil in her eyes.

"...He lost control again," she whispered at last. "What happens next time, Gabriel? What happens if I'm not there to calm him? What if Serafina isn't fast enough to seal him? What if... we lose him to that thing inside him?"

Gabriel didn't answer right away. He stepped closer and gently took her hand.

"He's not going to lose himself," he said softly. "He's our son."

"That doesn't make him safe," she replied. "It just means when he breaks, he'll break harder than anyone else."

Gabriel smiled.

That warm, smug bastard smile that always came before some mix of romantic nonsense and chaotic reassurance.

"Well then," he said, voice a low murmur as he leaned closer, "it's a good thing I'm here. Worst case scenario, I can fix him up," he whispered in her ear.

She stared at him flatly.

"...That's not comforting."

Gabriel leaned in more, brushing his lips against hers with maddening ease.

"But you still kissed me back."

Harribel rolled her eyes—but didn't pull away.

He kissed her properly this time.

Deep. Slow. Sincere.

And when they finally parted, his forehead rested gently against hers.

"I'll handle it," he said. "I swear. Aurelón is mine to guide. And I won't let anything happen to him. He's ours. That boy's got your grace, my fire, and enough raw potential to flatten Heaven twice."

She was quiet again—but her fingers closed around his just a little tighter.

"You're sure?"

He gave her a cheeky grin. "Come on, woman. When have I ever let you down?"

Harribel arched a brow. "You mean besides the incident with the lava bath, the exploding spicy noodles, and letting Apacci babysit—"

"Okay okay okay," he laughed, kissing her cheek quickly. "Besides all of that."

She gave him a small, reluctant smile.

"...I trust you. Just don't make me regret it."

"You won't," Gabriel said, wrapping an arm around her waist as he began leading her toward the private quarters. "Now, how about we talk training methods... in bed... shirtless... with charts."

Harribel sighed, shaking her head. "Your version of a tactical meeting is dangerously biased."

"Guilty as charged," he said smugly.

Horny ass Hollow...

Gabriel felt like someone was calling him out.
