Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Land Reclamation

"Rod, did you notify the military like I asked?"

"Tony, are you talking about the land reclamation, or...?"

"Yes, the reclamation."

Rodney exhaled. "The military doesn't want to get involved. But if they see some benefits, they might step in to calm the noise."

Tony nodded. "Got it. Come pick up a suit. Just remember—it's for you, not for the military. If the military makes any moves, the armor's AI will lock up instantly."

"You get what I'm saying, right, Rod?"

Rhodey, Tony's best friend, didn't argue. A suit of armor as a gift? Sure. But handing over Stark tech to the military? Not a chance. Tony still suspected the military was behind the last intrusion attempt, though Uchiha's investigation hadn't confirmed it yet.

This time, no one asked Tony to alert the military—he just had a hunch that today's event might draw attention.

Tony could act rebellious, but when he considered someone a friend, he looked out for them. Pepper, for instance. And Su Xiuyu—who had his back during the Hulk incident in New York and the Destroyer in Mexico. Tony remembered.

So this "land reclamation" wasn't just a pet project. It was a heads-up to the New York government and the military: something big was about to happen.

When Rhodey arrived at Tony's place, a silver, unpainted Mark II suit was already waiting. Though labeled Mark II, it had been significantly upgraded—only the power system remained dated. The rest was close to Tony's own Mark VI.

"I've been waiting. Got something urgent later," Tony said, sipping whiskey.

"Since when do you hand out your suits?"

"I'm not handing it out. I'm giving it to a friend. The tech's still Stark Industries property. Just friends helping each other—nothing to do with the military."

Rhodey nodded. He believed him.

"Wanna test the flight system today? I've flown jets, but flying in armor? That's gotta be something else."

"Sure, come with me. There's a big project happening at the mouth of the Hudson—land being rebuilt right on the sea."

"I thought you were short on money or something."

"Ha! Let's go!"

They launched into the sky. Meanwhile, Pepper Potts arrived at the Hudson River, escorted by Naruto and two others. Dozens of Uchiha ninjas were already deployed, dispersing civilians and vagrants from the area. The scene would be dramatic—best to clear the crowd.

Once the area was mostly empty, Su Xiuyu rose into the air. Tony and Rhodey arrived moments later, and even Kitsuchi joined them in the sky—the best place to observe.

"Xiu Yu, mind if I use satellites to capture this?" Tony asked.

"Do whatever you like."

"Jarvis, redirect all idle Stark satellites. I want full visuals, every detail captured perfectly."

"Yes, sir."

Tony wasn't just curious. He wanted to see what Su Xiuyu was truly capable of. And now that permission was granted, he wouldn't miss this chance.

A black staff appeared in Su Xiuyu's hand. He tapped it gently in the air—and transformed.

His black hair turned ghostly white, lengthening until it trailed past his ankles. His eyes shifted to a haunting lavender, marked with circular ripples—the legendary Rinnegan. A faint sigil glowed between his brows.

"What... what is this transformation?" Tony muttered, stunned. With the help of his armor and satellites, every detail was crystal clear.

Gasps erupted from the Uchiha on the ground.

"Sage! Sage's Eye! The Rinnegan!"

Cheers echoed as the ninjas recognized the legendary eyes. Though they didn't know why Uchiha Xiuyu possessed the Rinnegan, it didn't lessen the awe.

Hovering nearby, Kitsuchi could only shake his head. "So this is the power of a Ninja God..." He silently praised his father, Ohlnoki, for aligning with Konoha early.

Most didn't realize the Rinnegan and the Six Paths Sage weren't the same—but the name alone inspired reverence. For Kitsuchi, this was a strategic moment. Konoha stood as the dominant power with multiple Mangekyō Sharingan wielders. Kirigakure was fractured, and both Kumogakure and Sunagakure were paying reparations. For Iwagakure, this might be the opening to rise again.

"What does the Rinnegan actually mean?" Tony asked, confused by the crowd's excitement.

"The Rinnegan, belonged to the Sage of Six Paths—a mythical figure from thousands of years ago. It signifies power beyond comprehension," Kitsuchi explained.

"So... a pair of eyes makes you immortal?"

Kitsuchi smiled. "Mr. Tony, in the ninja world, eyes are more than just eyes. It's like your brain—same material as anyone else's, but yours created the Iron Armor."

Tony nodded slowly, beginning to understand.

Then Su Xiuyu's voice boomed across the sky.

"The heavens shall be sealed by a meteorite!"

A sudden shadow blanketed the land. All eyes turned skyward—and saw it.

A meteorite. Massive. Towering. Big enough to cover all of New York.

"What the hell—" Rhodey whispered.

"Is that a... meteorite?" Pepper's voice wavered.

The mood shifted instantly. They had come to witness land reclamation, but now stared in horror at what looked like a cataclysm.

Was this really how you reclaimed land?

NASA Center — National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Blaring alarms slammed into NASA headquarters like a tidal wave. In an instant, the center erupted into chaos.

"What's going on?"

"A meteorite—its trajectory suddenly changed. It's heading toward Earth!"

"What? That's impossible!" one scientist blurted out. "How could we miss that? We have a third of the world's top aerospace minds here and the most advanced detection satellites on Earth!"

"Trajectory adjustments confirmed," another technician reported. "Its speed is increasing rapidly… and it's targeting—New York City."

The news punched through the atmosphere like a death sentence.

The military was contacted immediately—but even they thought it was a joke.

"This better not be some kind of sick prank," a general snapped. "It's not April Fools', and this isn't funny!"

"Sir, I wish it were. Here's the live trajectory feed. This thing is the size of Manhattan—12 kilometers in diameter. Impact in ten minutes."

"If it hits…" a senior analyst muttered, pale-faced, "it'll generate energy equivalent to a hundred Hiroshima bombs. Not just New York—entire regions will be wiped out."

"Sixty-five million years ago," someone whispered, "a similar impact in Mexico created a 200-kilometer-wide crater. That one ended the dinosaurs."

A general slumped into his chair, utterly defeated. "We have no options. If we'd seen it a month ago, maybe... But ten minutes? There's nothing we can do."

"Then it's over," someone murmured. "Get your fastest pilots and head for Eurasia. That might be the only way to survive."

The call ended. Silence fell in the NASA center. Grim acceptance replaced panic. Some began hugging colleagues. Others sat motionless, eyes empty.

In the middle of this, a private call broke through.

"Tony, it's Rhodey. I'm at Edwards Air Force Base. Listen—there's a 12-kilometer meteorite heading for New York. You need to get out of there. Now."

There was a pause on the other end.

Rhodey continued, "If I fly a jet straight at it, carrying an atomic bomb… any chance I can intercept it?"

Tony Stark frowned, doing calculations in his head. "Rhodey, no. Not unless you have a thousand nukes and a rocket that can haul them into space in five minutes."

"Each nuke weighs a few tons. You'd need thousands of tons of thrust—none of our jets come close. And by the way, you've got about 7 minutes and 35 seconds left. So…"

Stark's tone, dry as ever, did nothing to ease the tension.

---

"Professor!" a student shouted, bursting through the door. "A meteorite is falling toward New York!"

Professor X reacted immediately. "Sound the alarm. Everyone to the bunker."

Beast and Professor X had prepared for worst-case scenarios. Their underground bunker could withstand a nuclear strike. It wasn't invincible—but it was their best hope.

Meanwhile, the European Space Agency confirmed the object's trajectory—impact zone: America. Europe might face aftershocks, but the real danger loomed across the Atlantic.

---

Back at Edwards, Rhodey's voice crackled back through Tony's communicator.

"Tony… I'm looking at the meteorite now. Is that it? The one you mentioned?"

Tony glanced at the feed. "Turning on the camera now."

The video feed flickered to life. What Rhodey saw wasn't a fireball streaking through the atmosphere. It was a perfectly round mass… floating in place above the ocean.

"Tony. What the hell are you doing?"

Tony replied, a touch of disbelief in his voice, "Su Xiuyu. He's reclaiming land… using a meteorite. At the mouth of the Hudson River."

"You're joking."

"Nope. My sensors say it's exactly 12 kilometers in diameter. I'm pretty sure your 'doomsday meteorite' is the one Su Xiuyu's placing in the water—on purpose."

There was a long silence.

"…I'm calling the military."

---

NASA Center

Suddenly, the alarms stopped.

"Director! The 12-kilometer meteorite… it's gone!"

"What?!"

Frantic scans confirmed it. The object had vanished from space. SHIELD also verified the disappearance.

In fact, Nick Fury had already been preparing to activate an emergency intergalactic transmission—to summon Captain Marvel. Only she had the power to stop such a cataclysm.

But now, the threat was gone.

Relief swept over the NASA center like a tidal wave. Cries of despair turned into sobs of joy. Phones rang nonstop as officials scrambled to confirm the miraculous news.

---

At the mouth of the Hudson River, Su Xiuyu calmly guided the meteorite into the sea. It descended gently, like a ping-pong ball placed in a swimming pool.

Had it fallen too fast, the resulting tidal wave could've wiped out New York.

Tony Stark watched in stunned silence.

"What the hell…"

Land reclamation usually took years—decades even. But here was Su Xiuyu… dropping meteorites like building blocks.

And the strangest part? The meteorite hadn't been there seconds ago. It had just appeared.

Like magic.

Like a genjutsu.

"…How the hell did they do that?"
