Chapter 14 - Broken Bonds, Intertwined Fates

Raigor – The Giant's Redemption

The sound of blades echoed through the rocky valley as Raigor dodged the Titan's devastating blows. Each punch the titan landed shook the earth, making the mountains tremble.

But Raigor didn't want to kill him. He wanted to save him.

The Lost Spirit floated beside him, its invisible chains still bound to the Giant.

"You cannot win!" the Giant roared, his voice like distant thunder. "I am his prison! If he is free, I cease to exist!"

Raigor paused for a moment, dodging another attack. What if there was another way?

"You must not die," he cried. "There is another way!"

The Giant hesitated for the first time. "What do you mean?"

Raigor took a breath and stared at the Spirit. "You were bound to this sacrifice to atone for your sins… but forgiveness is not something that comes from dying. Your friend does not want you to die. He wants your freedom."

The Spirit raised a transparent hand, as if to confirm his words.

The Giant trembled. For centuries he had believed that the only way to atone for his mistake was to remain chained. But perhaps he was just afraid to face reality.

Raigor lowered his sword.

"I give you a choice. Live. And fight with us."

The silence stretched. Then, with a deep groan, the Giant knelt. The runes that bound him shattered like glass.

The Spirit broke free, and a golden energy enveloped the titan. His stone skin cracked, and a new light emerged from his eyes.

"I am no longer a prisoner," whispered the Giant.

He stood up, taller and stronger than before, but with a new light in his eyes.

"I, Gormund, now serve a new cause."

Raigor smiled. He had found a new ally.

But the journey had only just begun. The Divine Physician awaited him, and with him, the hope of saving the sister of his beloved.

Veran – The Duel with the Giant Worm

The desert was endless, and Veran had been walking for hours, the relentless sun on his shoulders.

Then, the earth beneath his feet vibrated.

An immense shadow darkened the sky. A giant worm, as large as a fortress, emerged from the sand with a deafening roar.

Veran braced himself for battle. This creature was unlike anything he had faced before.

The monster lashed out with its colossal mouth, and Veran narrowly dodged. He unleashed his lightning energy, striking the creature with a devastating thunderclap.

But the worm did not stop. It was faster than it looked.

A second attack hit Veran squarely, knocking him into a dune. He coughed, struggling to get up. He couldn't face it alone.

It was then that he heard a familiar voice.

"You're still too impulsive, boy."

Veran's eyes widened. The voice...

Turning around, he saw a figure on top of a rock. A man in a long white robe, a sword at his side, and piercing eyes.

It was impossible. It was his master.

But his master had died years ago.

Veran clenched his fists. "Who are you, really?"

The man smiled. "This is not the time for answers. If you want to survive, fight with your head... not just with your powers."

The worm attacked again, and this time Veran was not alone.

The Puppet Master of War - A Plan That Shatters

In his shadowy throne, the Puppet Master watched the events with cold eyes.

"Gormund is no longer an enemy... and Veran has found a new helper."

He gritted his teeth. His plans were going out of control.

A figure emerged from the darkness. "Do you want me to eliminate them?"

The Puppet Master shook his head. "No... I want them to suffer before they understand the error of their ways."

The smile that spread across his face was pure poison.

"The next move will be mine."
