(Noah's POV)
The room fell silent the moment the door closed behind them.
For the first time in what felt like days, I was alone.
The warmth of their bodies still lingered in the sheets. The scent of their hair, the softness of their voices, the way they held me like I might disappear if they let go… all of it lingered like a fading dream.
I stared at the ceiling.
My body still ached. But it was a good kind of pain now. The kind that told you—you made it. You survived.
Barely.
My hands lifted into view, trembling slightly.
Scars. Faint. Fading. But still there.
That… could've gone wrong in so many ways.
I pushed myself too hard. Again.
I always thought… if I gave enough, if I suffered enough, I could climb faster. Reach further. Burn brighter.
And maybe that's true.
But gods—
"What doesn't kill you might make you stronger…
But it also leaves you close enough to death to remind you what you stand to lose."
I looked toward the empty side of the bed where Scarlett had been moments ago.
I had people now.
A family that welcomed me. Lovers who didn't hesitate to throw everything down just to heal me. Friends who would die on the battlefield beside me without hesitation.
I wasn't like those tragic protagonists from the books.
I wasn't alone.
And maybe that was why… I had to stop treating my life like it was some kind of quest I could brute-force through. This wasn't a system simulation.
This was real.
And if I ever went into a chamber like that again without telling them?
They'd kill me.
Literally.
And I wouldn't blame them.
I smiled faintly.
"No more reckless stunts. No more shortcuts. Just steady steps… with them."
With a breath, I sat up.
A pulse of warmth flickered in my chest—soft, stable, and steady.
Primal Mana.
I could feel it now… humming deep inside me. It wasn't just energy. It wasn't like fire or water or shadow or light.
It was… pure.
Untainted. Boundless.
Like a thread that connected all of existence—elements, life, matter, spirit.
I closed my eyes and inhaled.
The mana around me stirred in response. Not violently. Not like it did before, when elements clashed or spiraled out of sync.
Now… they harmonized.
I opened my eyes.
And for the first time—
The world looked different.
Subtle threads of energy curled through the air. I could see the flow of mana, even the passive kind drifting lazily through the sunlight. Every object seemed to shimmer faintly with life. My perception stretched deeper—like I was no longer just seeing the world, but feeling its heartbeat.
My gaze drifted to the table across the room.
I didn't channel magic. I just focused.
And instantly, the air above it shimmered.
A soft spiral of Primal Mana curled around my palm—not ten elements, not raw power compressed into chaos.
It was a single form.
Whole. Unified. Alive.
"…So this is what mana really is," I whispered.
Not just an element.
Not just fuel.
But… truth.
It's been a while since I last saw status.
"Status"
I called it up with a thought, expecting a few minor jumps.
It's been quite some time I even talk to it.
I have now stopped depending on the system.
I thought there won't be much changes.
What I saw instead?
I blinked.

"Ha…"
A smirk broke across my face.
"I finally have those overpowered titles and stats."
"The First Primal Mage… sounds kinda cool, doesn't it?"
And for once, I didn't feel like all the pain was for nothing.
I had done something no one else had.
My strength, endurance, intelligence, even my mana… all increased.
My Elemental Mastery has reached perfection now.
I could now multi-cast high-tier spells with ease.
And a new skill—Elemental Ascension—awaited me.
But what caught my eye?
Something that had been locked for so long…
The gifts from the Divine Dragon.
No matter what I did, they never activated—always just… sleeping. Like I wasn't worthy.
But now… they were unlocked.
Clairvoyance.
Enhanced Perception.
Truth-Seeing.
Astral Sight.
One word came to mind: Jackpot.
Each of these could be sold for billions. Even one of them in the hands of a mage would cause a war.
But me?
I had all of them.
My eyes locked on the first.
Clairvoyance.
"Let's give it a try."
What could possibly go wrong, right?
[Skill (Clairvoyance) Activated…]

5 minutes later.
Haa… haa… haaa…
My chest heaved as I gasped for breath.
Sweat clung to my skin. My eyes were wide—still trembling from what I'd seen.
"What the hell… was that…?"
I clutched my temples.
Something was wrong.
I saw something I shouldn't have.
And I had no idea…
How to stop it?
To be continued...
