Noah's POV
"I am ready."
I heard Lyra saying, as she moved gracefully on the frozen land.
"Is she done?" Layla asked, sounding bored.
"Yeah, I think so," I replied to her.
"I did it, Noah," Lyra said, walking towards us.
"Good job Lyra, you have done well," I praised her, putting my one hand on her shoulder.
Now, we just need to melt a particular area to take her mother, out of there.
"Eva, tell me the location of her mother," I asked in my mind.
[Go straight – 100 steps, then turn left and walk for 50 steps, then turn right for another 100 steps.]
"Hmm, I see it's that area," I muttered, as I looked at the location.
"Lyra, follow me," I said, started moving straight, without waiting for an answer.
"Huh?" The girls looked confused, but they all follow me regardless.
Step- Step- Step..
'Ninety-eight....ninety-nine.... hundred. Now I have to turn left for 50 steps' .
Step- Step- Step..
With each step I was getting closer to my destination.
'Forty-eight...forty-nine...fifty. Now, another 100 steps towards right.'
"Noah, where are we going?" Scarlett asked me.
"Yes, it's really cold here," Layla asked me as well.
"To her mother," I simply replied, but it was enough for them.
"N-Noah, have you found her?" Lyra asked me, worried about her.
"Yeah, but only you can save her," I answered her honestly.
I won't give her any false hope, saying, "I will save her". I can't do that, my ice control is not at that level, even with an elemental domain, it won't be enough. Only Lyra can save her.
I don't know how strong she is, but after absorbing a lot of essence, her domain will definitely be stronger than mine.
I stopped, as I reached the place. This place was almost at between centre and the boundary. The ice in this particular area was far denser than any other, as if it's protecting something precious.
"Is this the place?" Lyra asked, her eyes filled with anticipation.
"Yes, Just below us is your Mother, but how deep—I don't know," I replied her, pointing at the ground below us.
"You have to melt everything in this area, until you found her," I added, looking into her eyes.
"Ok, I understand, I can do it," Lyra said, as she started to focus her mana.
We all moved back, no one wants to get trapped inside the melted ice.
We all just cheered Lyra as mana started to cover her body.
Lyra's POV
Mana started swirling around, as I focused for my domain.
My domain.
What is my domain?
How should I make it?
Will it be like Layla's?
No, It should represent me.
"It must be born—through my will, carve from my heart."
I concentrated even deeper into my heart and soul, unwilling to give up.
The ice and snow particles started to move like a vortex around me.
My black hair shifted into icy-blue, were flowing with the wind. My black eyes shone with snow.
Ice and Snow enveloped my body, inside the vortex.
Something awakened inside me. I floated in air, no longer bound by fear. The air went silent, as I raised my hands and wishpered:
