The hanging shelf crashing down triggered a chain reaction that the kidnappers did not expect. Not only the smoking dust, the vibration got the standing shelves to wobble slightly. Sarah pushed an empty one to create more obstacles, and even more dust was swirling around.
Good thing they chose this semi-abandoned warehouse, huh?
"Forget about that one!" the deep voice of the burly man rumbled through the air. "Chase them!"
"Kyaah!" Ruby screamed as she got thrown to the side like a leftover. She didn't whine, however, and immediately scrambled to her feet, trying to find the exit while tears streamed down her pale cheeks.
Crazy! Crazy! She didn't sign up for this!
