"Did you suddenly cling to me for this, Master?" Hajin asked, eyes narrowed, and sounded like a sulky child.
"How would I know he'd come?" Sarah rolled her eyes.
In the first place, there was no need to give a show to the CEO if she just wanted to tell him about Lee Hyun's involvement with Daesung's executives. Sarah could just sit behind her desk and the flow of the conversation would still be the same.
She got the idea after seeing that none of the new proposals contained anything related to that project. Knowing how many projects were linked to Daesung in the past, it was weird that the company wasn't in on that. Sarah wondered if it was because the construction hadn't begun, or Joseph had no intention to get involved--and so, she started that act.
There was also the lingering question of the situation between Joseph and Lee Hyun. Were they cooperating? Was it a coincidence? Certainly, the CEO would report their conversation to Joseph, right?
