Li Hui illuminated the massive corridor underground, but as she did the light penetrated deep past the orderly peace and to the chaotic battle happening under their noses.
A massive earth creature, made of magma, earth, rock, mud. Trapped within the wall of the cave. The other side? A vein of purple crystals pulsating and a vampire pulling the purple crystal's power for its own use.
Instantly Li Hui froze.
Zhou Yan, ever mysterious, actually took a step back. The vampire turned to look at the ones who interrupted his darkness only to see group of weak cultivators.

Dmitri, only a Baron, one of the weakest of vampire novels had the chance to become strong. He was the first to activate his formation and do became able to use it for his own strength.
With only level 50 Hardening he could fight level 80+ with ease. As he found out when an Elder of the Nine Clouds Sect had attacked the formation underground.
He instantly teleported to the point of attack and begun to defend. The attacker, as he found out, was Nine Clouds Earth Di. While he was an Elder, he did not have the strongest attack power due to his earth cultivation not being typical of Nine Clouds Sect.

The vampire turned from the massive earthen creature it was fighting and swung his arm towards the group of unfortunate cultivators.
Instantly, the suppression that the Reversal Field had placed upon them increased severalfold. All those except Yuan Ting fell down to their stomachs. Their body's began breaking apart, blood pooling below.
Yuan Ting, having a rule placed upon him, unconsciously released laws which gave him more immunity to the effects.
He saw the vampire above and recognised it from the report Li Hui told him about, it really was the Reversal Field!
Kicking off the ground, he injected himself with all of his strength laws and pulled of Wang Qiang's body, hauling it over his body. Though as he did, behind him the vampire rolled his eyes and shot out a spike of blood.
The blood moved at such a speed that Yuan Ting couldn't have reacted fast enough even if he knew it was there. A fraction of a moment before it collided, it was cut in two, falling either side of Yuan Ting.
Zhou Yan, in that split second, threw off his cloak and dashed in front of Yuan Ting and pulled out his sword.
In the motion of unsheathing his blade, he slashed and cut the blood attack cleanly. The vampire had turned back to the Earth Elder he was fighting when he saw the anomaly happen.
He screeched, "How can you move!? A weakling and…you…" he pointed towards Zhou Yan, "You're a–"
He was cut off by a massive explosion of magma from the rock beside him. The explosion, the size of a mountain, directly came towards him and he had to stop to defend.
He flared the purple Reversal Crystal behind him and caused the magma to shake and burst. I dread it turned into a tree who's roots were nourished with water and it grew around the vampire rather than at him.

Dmitri pulled on the Reversal Formation and in his mind, like a cultivator, he used an impression of the opposite to form the basis of how the reversal was expressed.
He used the Five Elements system, and so the magma attack was made of Fire and Earth.
"Fire and Earth. The opposite, Water and Wood. The wood will turn into a tree while the water, as in nature, will nourish the tree, causing it to move erratically in my favour."
He let the Reversal force occur and the magma instantly shattered to reveal a beautiful tree which quickly grew, though not straight towards himself, piercing his body, instead around him as if he had a barrier there.

Yuan Ting felt his clothing all pull towards the massive Elder fight as the sound laws were reversed. Instead of hearing a collision, the vibrations outwards from it turned into a vacuum which pulled things in.
'So that's what that was…'
Zhou Yan, now unrobed, looked up and furrowed his brows. He turned back, "This isn't a fight we can interfere with, at least not you lot. Allow me to help, you take Li Hui."
Zhou Yan, with a single hand, took Wang Qiang off from Yuan Ting's back. The relief of pressure made Yuan Ting groan, he looked up, "Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter. You can move for a reason I do not know, much like I can for a reason you do not know. We all have our secrets."
Yuan Ting nodded and moved to pick up Li Hui, inadvertently covering his robes in her blood as a wound opened up.
He tried to use fire laws eim it as soon as they left his body and went to Li Hui's they turned into water. He turned to Zhou Yan who had already begun walking up the vertical wall to get back to the tunnel they jumped from.
He shouted, "She's bleeding badly, she needs help NOW!" luckily, as he spoke the sound laws didn't reverse as instead another attack happened with the vampire and Elder. This caused the Reversal Field to weaken while it's power was withdrawn.
Zhou Yan stopped halfway up and twisted his hand, a cold mist appeared at his fingertips, be pushed forward and the frost shot towards Li Hui, freezing her wound shut.
He nodded and held Li Hui on his shoulder while he pulled out his sword with the other. Unlike Zhou Yan, he couldn't walk up a steep wall, he would need to use his sword as an anchor, as before.
As he climbed, he looked to the side to see the massive titan of a magma/tree creature constantly shifting in correspondence to the tiny vampire it was fighting drawing power form the vein of crystals which stretched far through the tunnel.
He offered, 'How far does the crystal go…throughout the entire battlefield?'
As he neared the top, Zhou Yan gave him a hand and the two of them reached the top where they saw the small tunnel they came in through had completely collapsed.
