The sky had gone dark all around. So dark.
Julissa felt like she hadn't seen the sky this dark for a long time. It felt as if someone had blindfolded her. Julissa wanted to reach out, but all she heard were the sounds of various machines.
"My goodness, she's a pregnant woman!"
"With such a big belly, she must be at least five months pregnant."
"The fetal heart rate is good, stabilize her heartbeat and oxygen saturation, we must save her!"
Pregnant? Julissa was in a daze, subconsciously she felt like they were talking about her. But how could that be? She was only a teenager. How could they be talking about her?
Yet, it did feel as if something was kicking inside her belly. This feeling... Julissa had read about it before in books. Is this... a baby moving? Julissa wanted to feel her belly.But her body could no longer muster any strength. She was so tired. Julissa quickly fell asleep again.
