Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Enjou on the Move!

'Sigh, is there really no information about this matter?' After sitting in the tea house for a while longer, Enjou sighed in disappointment. Feeling that he wouldn't get any useful information by staying here, he decided to leave and try other methods.

However, just as he was about to leave, the corner of his eye caught sight of a young man whose demeanor and speech were even more refined than his own.

This piqued Enjou's interest. He asked the waiter for two new pots of tea and carried them over to the young man's table.

"Excuse me, sir. May I share your table?"

"Hmm?" Zhongli, who had been drinking tea, suddenly heard someone calling him and put down his cup to look up.

Zhongli: ???

Looking at the man who had approached him, Zhongli frowned slightly. In his golden eyes, Enjou's illusion had already been dispelled, revealing a red Abyss Herald holding two teapots.

"Please." Zhongli showed no unusual reaction, treating the man before him as an ordinary citizen of Liyue. He wanted to see what the Abyss Order was up to this time.

"Thank you. May I ask your name, sir?" After sitting down, Enjou initiated a conversation with Zhongli. This man's demeanor and bearing were extraordinary. If he could be recruited into the Abyss Order to serve the Prince, it would be a great boon.

"My surname is Zhong." Zhongli replied calmly, his words and actions devoid of any excess.

"Ah, Mr. Zhong! A pleasure to meet you. I am Enjou." Hearing Zhongli's response, Enjou's estimation of him rose even higher. 'Truly a rare talent,' Enjou thought to himself. Although he didn't know the man's exact background or occupation, he trusted his own judgment.

For a while, Enjou continued to chat with Zhongli. They talked about the present and the past, from Liyue to Snezhnaya. The more they talked, the more Enjou was amazed. This man not only knew about astronomy and geography but also had some knowledge of the ancient kingdom of Khaenri'ah from centuries ago.

"Brother Enjou, what business are you in? At this hour, only idle people like myself would be lingering in a tea house."

"Haha, I'm also a wanderer. I just enjoy listening to interesting stories, which is why I came here for tea. Isn't there a new rumor going around? That's why I'm here to listen."

"Oh?" Hearing Enjou's words, Zhongli raised an eyebrow. He roughly understood the purpose of this Abyss Herald's visit.

Yesterday, Yun Fan had mentioned to him that the traveler had a brother who was a high-ranking member of the Abyss Order. Although his exact position was unknown, he was surely someone of great importance.

Could it be that he had heard about his sister's impending marriage and sent an Abyss Herald to investigate?

At this thought, Zhongli's lips curled into a slight smile. Yun Fan had always been the one causing trouble for him. This time, perhaps it was his turn to give Yun Fan a little payback.

"I've also heard about this new rumor—that the golden-haired traveler is about to get married. I've had the fortune of meeting her, and she is indeed an excellent match. However, the man's identity is also quite extraordinary…"

"Hmm… Huh?! Does Mr. Zhongli know something about the man?" Enjou immediately perked up and pressed for more information. He hadn't expected to stumble upon someone who actually knew the inside story.

"Indeed, the man who is about to marry the traveler is named Yun Fan. He currently resides at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Rumor has it that he is a disciple of the adepti. If Brother Enjou is interested, you can go to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor to investigate."

"Hahaha!! Thank you, Brother Zhongli! The tea is on me today. We'll meet again in the future. I'll take my leave now!" After obtaining the information he wanted, Enjou stood up, cupped his hands in gratitude, and hurriedly paid for the tea before leaving Heyu Tea House.

Watching Enjou's hurried departure, Zhongli picked up his teacup and took a sip.

"Hmm, saved myself some tea money…"

"Welcome to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. May I ask what service you are here to book?" After asking for directions several times, Enjou swaggered up to the entrance of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. As soon as he stepped inside, a woman wearing a "Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Staff" badge greeted him with a smile.

"Services? What services do you offer here?" Since he was already here, Enjou decided to play along to better gather information.

"Sir, we offer the best funeral services in all of Liyue Harbor. Take a look at our newly launched 'Ascension Package,' which allows you to experience the same funeral standards as Rex Lapis himself." The staff member enthusiastically promoted the package, causing Enjou's cheek to twitch.

Experiencing the same funeral standards as Morax? Would I even be able to feel anything after death?

"Ahem, how much does this package cost?" To better gather information about Yun Fan, Enjou decided to purchase a package and build rapport with the staff.

"Sir, you have a good eye. Since this package has just been launched, it's currently on discount. It only costs [amount] Mora."

"What?! That expensive…" Enjou's eyes widened. A funeral service costing that much was equivalent to several years of his salary… But, no pain, no gain. He'd buy it! He could always ask the Prince to reimburse him later!

"Sir, this way, please!" The staff member was beaming, quickly leading Enjou to complete the procedures. The commission from this sale would cover several months of her salary.

After everything was settled, Enjou casually asked, "Miss, I heard there's a Mr. Yun Fan here?"
