Lu Ying sat up.
He looked at Shen Yinning, a cautious glint hidden in his narrow eyes: "Xie Shuyi has been here?"
"Yes." Shen Yinning handed him a cup of hot tea.
Lu Ying picked up the tea lid and skimmed the tea froth unhurriedly: "I notice your demeanor is different from the usual. What, you're not pretending to have amnesia anymore?"
Shen Yinning smiled slightly: "No, I'm not pretending anymore."
She laid her cards on the table quite suddenly.
The atmosphere quietly shifted to something uncanny as the disguise was abruptly lifted in the hall.
Lu Ying's movements paused, and after a while he said: "Everything I just did to you was due to being forced by love poison; it was not my genuine intention. I am now fond of Imperial Concubine Ning, there is no one for me but her."
Shen Yinning's smile deepened: "No one but him?"
Lu Ying's expression turned cold and stern, ignoring her, merely tilting his head to drink tea.
