Somewhere in an underground, secret room, a woman lay motionless on a cold steel table, her breathing shallow after what the men had done to her.
"Oh? She's broken," said one of them, tapping lightly on her cheek.
"She's out, man," the other replied, turning toward their boss. "Boss, this is amazing. I didn't know a person's eyes could roll back like that just from the intensity."
"Yes," the other guy said calmly, his tone filled with quiet pride. "The new product is remarkable."
In the corner of the dimly lit room, Gin Chu Won — Jen Heo Won's cousin — sat with a glass of whiskey on the rocks, his muscular frame relaxed against the leather seat.
His goatee caught the faint glimmer of the single overhead light, and his long hair was tied back neatly into a ponytail.
"Eat all you want," he said to his subordinates, swirling the ice in his glass as he flipped through the candidates' resumes laid across the table.
His sharp eyes studied each photo with detached interest. "I'll need to save my strength for later."
The sound of the ice clinking against glass echoed through the silence, blending with the low hum of the ventilation system.
The room smelled faintly of metal, whiskey, and something unspoken that lingered in the air.
Back at Won Group the next day,
Sae Jin Mei entered the building, glancing around as if looking for someone before heading to her station at the receptionist desk.
"Ah!" she exclaimed, spotting Shan Wolf. She quickly fast-walked toward him and playfully bumped into him. "Shan!"
"Oh, Jin Mei, it's you," Shan said, smiling. "You look rather happy and giggly today. What happened? Something good?"
Shan Wolf's dark skin contrasted sharply with his black suit as he stood ready to head to his department — IR, Investor Relations.
"Hehe, I decided to enter the audition," said Sae Jin Mei, locking her arms behind her playfully.
"Well, that's great news. Guess I'll see you on TV soon, huh?"
"Hehe, I don't know. I have the audition tonight, so I'm heading there later."
Shan took her hands in his, giving a firm, encouraging grip. "Keep moving forward, Jin Mei."
"It's all thanks to you, Mr. Wolf," said Jin Mei with a wide, cheerful smile. "You got me out of prison when I was just a small-time thief trying to get by. Now, because of you, I'm reforming — with a purpose."
Shan smiled softly and patted her head. "I'll be rooting for you, Jin Mei. Even if I'm not there or somewhere far away, I carved the path with my own hands to guide you. Now it's time for you to walk it on your own."
"You're right," Jin Mei said, nodding. "You've guided me enough. I need to learn my ups and downs. And I won't let your guidance go to waste, Shan."
Later, as they went their separate ways to their stations, Shan headed to the coffee machine to grab a cup before starting his day.
"I guess my work is almost done," he muttered to himself — until a sharp instinct hit him, warning of something incoming.
"!"
WHOOSH!
"Oh? You moved," came a sultry voice from behind.
"Not my first rodeo, Ms. Mikage," Shan replied, straightening his posture as he turned around — only to see Ingrid Mikage standing there in a revealing red cutout dress that caught the light in all the wrong ways.
Before he could react further, she locked his arm in a tight hold, pressing against him deliberately.
"Argh! Woman, what's the deal?!" he groaned, trying to pull free.
"I've stayed in IR as Head Manager ever since I joined this company!" she exclaimed, tightening her grip. "And I've seen plenty of people slack off or show up late — but you're the first to leave during the damn day!"
"?!!" Shan blinked in disbelief at what she was saying, caught off guard by both her words and her closeness.
"You think this is a school?!" she snapped.
"Let me go, and we can talk, woman…" he managed between strained breaths. He could barely breathe — what a woman Ingrid was.
"Just try to get out of this," she said, tightening her hold even more.
"Skipping? I only took a half-day off! Plus, I submitted a request — and it got approved…"
She finally released him with a sigh. "Forget it. Anyway, don't leave work early again. You'll have to make up for the time you skipped."
As Shan Wolf caught his breath, he noticed Ingrid standing there, arms folded, a look of disappointment written across her face.
"Life must be looking up for you, Shan," she said coldly. "Whipping your tail around everywhere, huh?"
Her thoughts lingered behind her sharp tone. Enjoying that little bit of popularity?
Without another glance, she turned and walked back toward her office, her heels clicking against the marble floor.
"Before, there was a rough edge to you," she said over her shoulder. "I kinda liked that. But now… you're just a lapdog."
Shan watched her leave, genuinely puzzled by her words. "Sigh… I don't understand women and their behaviour," he muttered to himself, heading back to his cubicle.
At the same time, in an apartment in Gangnam, a 19-year-old woman was hacking Shan Wolf's phone. Beside her sat Jen Heo Won's assistant and bodyguard, Gon Jun San.
She tapped rapidly on the keyboard. "Wow — look at this, just this, and that… and it's all— not done."
Her laptop screen flashed ACCESS DENIED.
She sighed and leaned back on the floor. "Man, whoever this guy is, y'all want me to hack him. However I try, the codes look personally tampered. If I make one wrong move, it triggers an automatic factory reset."
She thought, This is some crazy shit.
Gon Jun San slid a bigger wad of Korean cash onto her desk. "Dude, I like cash and all, but something this simple ain't easy."
He was about to take the money back when the hacker stopped him.
"Ah, wait," she said. "I think I know a personal friend who can do it."
Somewhere an hour later, in Bae Sik Gong's apartment, the doorbell rang. He looked up from his desk and blinked in surprise — Ingrid Mikage stood at the door, dressed in a playful school uniform cosplay despite being thirty-six.
"Miss Mikage… what is this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Without a word, she stepped inside and playfully pushed him down into his roller chair. "I never did finish that almost kiss back at the skyscraper," she teased.
Before he could respond, she leaned in close — their faces inches apart — the air between them heavy with tension.
She begins to kiss him sloppy while rocking him between his legs. She then took him deep.
But just as things were about to get good, he choked her hard. "You're mine, MINE!!!!"
Bae Sik Gong's eyes shot open. He was back in his room, sitting alone at his desk, sweat beading at his temple.
"Damn it," he muttered, rubbing his face. "It was just a dream again."
He leaned back in his chair, sighing in frustration. Just as he reached for a tissue to wipe his desk and the mess he made from release, his phone buzzed.
"Hmm? Chai Yoo Fon?" he said, glancing at the screen. "What does she want now?"
He picked up the call. "Yeah? I'm busy, so make it fast," he said, his tone half-annoyed.
On the other end was the same hacker who'd been working with Gon Jun San earlier.
"How did you know it was me?" she asked playfully.
"When I saw that unknown number with a heart icon, I had a hunch," he replied dryly.
"Aw, come on," she laughed. "We were both the best hackers in Korea once, we went to the top university and major in softwares. We just live quietly now to keep our identities safe. Even if it means staying off the radar."
"Cut the act, Chai Yoo Fon," he said with a sigh. "What do you want, or I'm hanging up."
"Hehe, as iron as a wall."
"Yoo Fan....!!!"
"Fine, fine. I got a part-time job that needs your assistance on this. Want in?"
Later in the afternoon, back in Won Group. Jen Heo Won, in her office, sat on her sofa and was eating a cake.
On both her sides stood Gon Jun San and Rachel So Mi, General Manager of Publication & Recurring PR Division.
"So you need more time to figure out what's on that phone?" Jen Heo Won asked with a tone pitch going high with a question.
"Fine," she said. "It'll be something nice to have but not a deal breaker. After all, we are gonna win the board meeting anyway."
She looked to her left and asked Gon Jun San, "Junny?"
"Yes, ma'am. All is well and done. Bribe as usual but the higher amount." He said like a robot, following Jen Heo Won's orders.
"As expected of my personal finest." She said, taking a bite of the cake. "Picking you as my personal bodyguard and assistant was my greatest move. Those pathetic board members morons can't help but stuff what's already full. They're greedy with no ambitions, but....."
She turned to Rachel So Mi, standing up slowly from the sofa and stepping forward until she was face to face with her, holding a fork in her hand.
"Are you gonna stand there like a statue while I do all the fucking work?" Jen Heo Won said, raising her fork near to Rachel So Mi's eyelashes, the tines glinting under the office lights.
With a disgusted smug look, she asked, "You must have forgotten after being in the PR team for so long. Why have I brought you into the company."
She moved her fork straight down to Rachel So Mi's breast and poked it hard on her nipple section through the fabric of her blouse.
"If there was something I said I needed. You should steal, beg, or do whatever the fuck you could do to get it!"
Jen Heo Won pressed the fork harder, twisting it slightly as if a warning to Rachel So Mi. "I'm..., I'm sorry ma'am." Rachel So Mi apologized, her voice trembling as she winced from the pressure.
Jen Heo Won then used the fork to lift the hem of Rachel So Mi's pencil skirt, the fabric sliding up her thigh with a soft rustle. She smirked and said,
"You should have been willing to spread your legs to someone like Shan Wolf. Or maybe is because you to share a...., how should I put it?"
She leaned in close, her breath warm against Rachel So Mi's ear as she whispered something a little racist. "Skin relation."
Rachel So Mi's eyes widened in shock, but she did not say a thing and just gritted her teeth under her lips, her fists clenching at her sides.
Jen Heo Won leaned back out and said with another mocking tone, her lips curling into a cruel smile. "I know you went on a date with him on your birthday. Its the same day as Shan Wolf. And a kiss? Pathetic."
Jen Heo Won leaned back out and said with another mocking tone, crossing her arms as she paced a step back.
"Well, you were popular among the boys back in high school. Hell, even the older teachers were. I don't understand Korean men and their pathetic taste. So how about putting that pretty face of yours to good use."
"Cause if you don't....," she slid the handle of her fork between Rachel So Mi's legs, pressing it firmly against the inner thigh as she leaned in again, her eyes locking onto Rachel So Mi's with menace.
"I'll send you back to the fucking ghetto of a ditch your ancestors came from, So Mi."
Later, Rachel walked to the storage room to put in some files, her steps slow and heavy, her shoulders slumped as if carrying an invisible weight. Her coworkers looked at her in pity, exchanging glances across the room.
One asked his colleague in a hushed voice, leaning closer over a desk. "What's up with her?"
"Don't know? She's been like this since the meeting with the Vice President Jen Heo Won this afternoon." The colleague replied, shaking his head slightly.
"Geez, let's not get in her way." The first one said, turning back to his work as Rachel disappeared into the storage room, the door clicking shut behind her.
Rachel So Mi's mind raced with thoughts, her heart pounding as she leaned against the cold metal shelves in the storage room, her fingers gripping the edge of a filing cabinet so tightly that her knuckles turned white.
What ditch of a ghetto I came from...?
She paced a few steps back and forth, her heels clicking softly on the concrete floor, her breath coming in short, angry bursts.
I was at a pretty decent company back then!
Who asked you to get me out of there, Jen Heo Won!
She slammed a file onto the shelf with a thud, the papers scattering slightly before she straightened them again, her eyes narrowing as if staring down an invisible enemy.
Stupid bitch!
You just wanted to act like a bully you were in high school!
Even when Miss Min Rin Kin was found after she was kidnapped when she was a child, you still were a bully!
And what?!
Open my legs because I was popular among the boys back in high school!
Racist Won Bitch!
She crossed her arms over her chest, hugging herself as a shiver of rage ran through her, her lips curling into a sneer.
I was brought in by your father, Eh San Won when I was a child!
Yes I was popular among the boys!
So what?! Who would like you and your shitty personality! And to be racist?!
That's a low blow even to anyone! Are all Koreans like that?!!!!
I worked my ass off to get to where I am! Not you!!!
Rachel stopped pacing abruptly, her shoulders heaving as she took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm inside her.
But the anger still simmered just beneath the surface, her reflection in a dusty window showing a face flushed with indignation.
"Sigh, Shan Wolf huh. Well, he did release my stress and gave me a birthday I never had. Hehe, can't believe I'm fluttering over an employee."
"But now that I think about, i have never seen Heo Won with that guy." She meant Gon Jun San. "Two paired up like a glue, a lapdog assistant, and a bitch with no sex experience. What a duo of losers."
As she was about to leave, she heard moans coming from the other side of the storage. She peeked and sees Shan Wolf having sex with Eva Kin, former name as Min Rin Kim. Jen Heo Won's stepsister.
What The Fuck!!!
