"Just let me see the extent of your strength, Ayr. I want to know how long it will take before I catch up!" Bullet declared, fists clenched, Haki coating his arms in dense, glossy layers of black. Ever since Ayr had revealed his devastating power, Bullet had made him the benchmark—the pinnacle to surpass. Yet despite all his ambition, Bullet had never fully grasped the limits of Ayr's strength, and that uncertainty fueled him. Today's battle was his chance to witness that limit firsthand, to see the true ceiling of Ayr's might.

"Jiehahahaha… Ayr, even with those three attacking together, I'd say you've got this handled!" The Golden Lion laughed heartily, his dual sabers floating beside him through the power of his Fuwa Fuwa no Mi as he hovered above the battlefield. His golden mane whipped wildly in the scorching updrafts left behind by Ayr's last assault. Despite his old resentment over Roger's death, the Golden Lion couldn't help but revel in the spectacle below—three of Roger's strongest, Rayleigh, Jabba, and Roger himself, all facing Ayr. Even in this high-stakes clash, he didn't believe Ayr would fall. After all, he had once witnessed Ayr annihilate an entire Vice Admiral division at Marineford—a feat that had silenced even Sengoku.

"The main trio of Roger's crew working in perfect sync to challenge the most feared pirate alive… Ayr. This outcome truly intrigues me," Earl Red murmured, tapping his fingers against his cane sword as his sharp eyes observed the battlefield.

At its heart, Roger stood opposite Ayr and asked plainly, "You don't mind if the three of us attack together, do you, Ayr?" Rayleigh, adjusting his glasses, added with a half-smile, "To take on a monster like you, it's only fair we join forces. Don't say we're ganging up on you." Jabba, cracking his knuckles, chimed in, "Even with all three of us coming at you, you probably still think you can win. Hell, your strength's on another level now."

Expressionless, Ayr kept his sword, Zan Shen, sheathed but humming with heat. "You can come at me with five if you want. Or… do you not intend to call up that other beast on your ship—Bullet?" His calm tone carried an undercurrent of challenge. Ayr didn't care about being outnumbered; his confidence wasn't arrogance, but battle-tested certainty. With the sun nearing its peak, his Heavenly Blaze would now reach its most effective form.

The powerhouse he mentioned, of course, was Bullet—the man who had once fought Rayleigh to a draw and traded blows with Garp before being imprisoned in Impel Down. "Calling Bullet into this fight would be overkill," Roger said with a grin, spinning his blade as Conqueror's lightning crackled along its edge. "This three-man combo should be enough." Despite Bullet's sheer brute force, he lacked the seamless synergy the trio had forged through decades of sailing together.

"Let's get started then, Ayr," Rayleigh said, his tone sharpening. "Let us feel your power—let us taste the weight of the new era!" As his words fell, their Haki erupted in unison, pressure waves splitting the air. Facing Ayr required nothing less than their full strength. They had all felt that divine aura before—a fusion of chakra and Haki that scorched the heavens. Without hesitation, the three launched forward simultaneously, Observation Haki revealing glimpses of Ayr's next movement.

Ayr raised his hand. "Come then… face the unrelenting sun." A golden-white flame ignited at his fingertip, not mere fire but condensed solar chakra—akin to Amaterasu, yet infused with Conqueror's Haki and Solar Release. The air twisted from the heat, nearby trees erupting into flames. This was Ayr's technique: Solar Nova—Sun Without Mercy. The expanding orb, larger than Ayr himself, radiated molten brilliance that seemed to pull the sun down upon Loguetown.

When he hurled it, the world was consumed in blinding light.

BOOOOOM!!!

The explosion tore through land and sea alike; waves boiled, a pillar of flame reached the clouds, and even distant spectators collapsed under the scorching heat that seared their lungs and evaporated their sweat.

"Ayr!!!" Roger, Rayleigh, and Jabba's voices echoed from different directions as they narrowly evaded the impact using top-tier Observation Haki. Even so, they hadn't escaped unharmed. The shockwave and residual heat burned their skin and tore their clothing—Roger's sleeve had disintegrated, Jabba's arm smoked, and Rayleigh's glasses had cracked from the pressure.

"Damn, his solar release… it's like facing the wrath of Enel fused with Ace and a Rinnegan user," Jabba growled. "His attacks even distort space," Rayleigh muttered, tightening his grip.

Yet the trio pressed on, their coordination flawless, their will unshaken.

"Troublesome," Ayr muttered, watching their seamless rhythm. Three veterans—one purpose. Even for him, this wouldn't be easy.

With a flick, he unsheathed Zan Shen. SHING! Triple arcs of blackened sword energy, infused with Armament and Solar Haki, screamed through the air—Three-Slice Severance. Each slash howled like a black dragon, baring fangs at Rayleigh, Jabba, and Roger. Rayleigh and Jabba were blasted back, skidding across cracked earth, but Roger had already predicted the path.

He vanished from sight—then appeared behind Ayr. "You've lost, Ayr!" Roger's voice roared, his blade Ace engulfed in blazing purple-black Conqueror's Haki, reinforced with Advanced Armament that shattered from within. Every lesson—from Gaban, Rayleigh, even Rocks—culminated in this final strike.

Ayr's left eye narrowed. "Tch. That's more dangerous than I expected…"

Roger brought his sword down. "Heaven Avoidance!!!"

The heavens split; lightning roared; space itself twisted. Roger's slash slammed into Ayr's back, unleashing a shockwave that leveled the battlefield. Ayr's body was hurled across the terrain, plowing through boulders and carving a fiery trench as mountains trembled from the force.

"…He really landed that," Earl Red whispered, stunned.

"Even someone with Ayr's physique and chakra-infused body won't walk away clean after that," Bullet remarked coolly, arms crossed. "Roger's blade carried interior destruction and advanced Conqueror's Haki—there's no brute-forcing through that."

Silence swept the field as the echoes faded and dust settled. Then, from the haze, Ayr's silhouette emerged—cloak shredded, a burn marring his back, blood running down his shoulder. Yet his eyes burned brighter than before.

The war was far from over.
