Chapter 461 - Sealing Complete

As Sam Li prepared to suppress the two Starlight gems, a familiar "Eh-hey!" suddenly sounded from behind him.

"Eh-hey, old man, what are you planning to do with them next?"

Hearing this, Sam Li turned and saw a youth with two small braids—Venti, or as he was known, the Anemo Archon, Barbatos.

Seeing him, Sam Li spoke slowly, "These two Starlight gems are the giant's true body. They possess consciousness and contain power beyond imagination. If they explode, they could destroy this world…"

Precisely because of this, Sam Li had been extremely cautious, preparing extensively for this battle. Driving the Sun-Colored Starlight Giant out of Hollow Zero had consumed more than half his strength, and only then did he use Planet Befall to end the war.

Then Sam Li said calmly, "The only way is to seal them."

Hearing this, Venti nodded. "Right. Then let's begin."

Sam Li continued, "Help me hold the two gems in place. Don't let them escape. I'll set up the sealing formation."

Venti chuckled. "Leave it to me."

The moment he finished speaking, Venti slowly raised his hand. The soft notes of his lyre rang out once more as he chanted a hymn of freedom.

At the same time, pale teal breezes began to rise around him, drifting toward the two Starlight gems When the two gems finally broke free from the Geo restraints, the breezes had already arrived—coiling around them and binding them once more.

After restraining the gems with Anemo, Venti immediately noticed that they were able to devour Anemo as well, gradually eroding the breezes holding them.

They were truly remarkable gems.

At the same moment, before summoning the formation of the Seven Celestial Statues, Sam Li lifted his hand again, commanding the Geo beneath the earth to gather together. Dozens of layered stone ridges rose around the area, forming a temporary formation to strengthen the restraint on the gems.

Only then could Sam Li finally focus on constructing the formation of the Seven Celestial Statues.

He first attempted to communicate with the system in his mind. As before, while the system had collapsed after he regained his memories, some functions remained usable.

Thus, Sam Li immediately spent the system credits he had accumulated over the past few days, exchanging them for a series of miniature Seven Celestial Statues—over a dozen in total.

Originally, Sam Li wanted to exchange for even more, ideally enough to place across many regions of this planet. But after acquiring fifteen statues, the system reached its limit. No matter what Sam Li tried, it no longer responded—eventually disappearing completely from his mind.

Even so, fifteen statues were more than enough.

The next moment, Sam Li leaped skyward, soaring upward. From above he looked down at the battlefield—the vast abyss and the ravaged land stretching out in every direction.

"Go—"

With a soft command, Sam Li tossed a miniature Seven Celestial Statue downward.

As it fell from the sky, the small statue expanded rapidly. In the blink of an eye, it transformed into a massive golden deity, crashing down with a booming impact several kilometers from the Sunlight Star gems.

Immediately after, Sam Li repeated the process again and again, throwing down one miniature statue after another. Each became a colossal golden figure, evenly spaced around the Starlight gems

Once nine statues were placed—

At that moment, Cloud Retainer, Moon Carver, Mountain Shaper, Xiao, and Azhdaha—who had previously retreated—returned to the battlefield.

When they saw the nine statues arranged around the area, they were visibly shocked.

Moon Carver's heart trembled. "Geo Archon… are you planning to use the statues to suppress the two gems?"

Sam Li nodded slowly. "Yes. Those two Sun-Colored Starlight gems are extremely unusual—even capable of devouring Geo. Only by using the power of the Seven Celestial Statues can they be completely suppressed."

With the nine statues serving as the formation's nodes, they could continuously supply Geo energy to the seal. This endless replenishment would offset the gems' consumption, rendering the seal unbreakable.

Unless the statues were destroyed, or the planet itself shattered, the seal would remain eternal.

As soon as he finished speaking, Sam Li began casting his spell, chanting a silent contract. Using the contract as the foundation and the statues as the formation's anchors, he sealed the two Sunlight Star Radiance gems deep beneath the earth.

As he chanted, the nine statues erupted with radiant, multicolored light. Countless Geo streams flowed into them and spread throughout the area, bathing the land in shimmering gold.

Under Sam Li's guidance, this pure Geo converged at the very center of the formation—the bottom of the abyss where the two gems floated. Layer by layer, the Geo enveloped them, forming a massive golden sphere.

"Descend—"

With Sam Li's soft command, the golden sphere carrying the two gems slowly sank beneath the floor of the abyss, burying itself deep in the earth.

Seeing this, Venti, Cloud Retainer, Moon Carver, Mountain Shaper, Xiao, and Azhdaha all let out sighs of relief.

After so much preparation, the suppression and sealing of the giant was finally complete.

Mountain Shaper immediately approached. "Geo Archon, those gems appear capable of devouring Geo. If they ever escape… New Eridu would face disaster again."

Sam Li answered calmly, "No need to worry. With the statues supplying endless Geo, the seal will hold. Unless this world's Geo is completely exhausted, the gems will never break free."

As he finished speaking, Sam Li snapped his fingers. The Nine Celestial Statues shone with golden light once more.

Not only that, the Adepti could now see nine glowing streams of Geo threading from the statues into the depths of the earth, connecting directly to the golden seal.

With this, all worries were put to rest.

Just as they were discussing this, several vehicles sped toward them from afar. It was the reinforcements: Hoshimi Miyabi, Nicole, Billy, Keqing, Hu Tao, and the others.

From a distance, Billy spotted the massive abyss through the pale golden dust.

"Nicole! Watch out—there's a huge canyon up ahead!"

Tsukishiro Yanagi's expression was full of confusion. "According to the records, this area should be a vast plain. How could there be a canyon?"

After a moment, Tsukishiro Yanagi considered a possibility—it must be connected to the golden meteorite.

But…

Just how powerful would a meteorite have to be to carve out something like this?
