It was five-thirty in the morning. An ideal hour for the early risers to begin their day. At this time of day, the world always stayed peaceful, the air fresh and crisp, which made it a perfect time and environment for a run to clear the mind.
For Andrew, it was the perfect time to begin his usual routine. A habit that he had maintained no matter what.
Andrew always woke up at five in the morning. No exceptions. No matter how exhausted he was with work, how late he slept, or how much he drank, his body would wake up at five every single day like clockwork.
Then he would freshen up, change into his usual jogging clothes, and go for a run at five-thirty in the forest, returning at seven.
