Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Persuasion

In the end, after negotiations with the world's top leaders, they still chose to convince Akira to become one of the representatives of the Seven Martial Seas under the King. With this identity, he could legitimately assume the role of a pirate, and his identity as a pirate would be arbitrary. He could wander without being governed by the World Government.

But on the other side, Akira was not particularly clear about this matter. After staying in Alabasta, he felt that there was no need to waste time here. After all, there would be no crisis in Alabasta.

"It seems it's time to leave here. Otherwise, the situation may get even worse," Akira couldn't help but say to several others.

Ellie had become depressed since Robin joined the crew, so she didn't have her own judgment on this kind of thing.

"In this case, I can only choose to separate from you. After all, passing through Alabasta was just one of the small things I had to do. Now that everything is over, I should leave afterward," she said directly.

Looking at it this way, it seemed that this small team was starting to separate again.

"Good brother, although the time we've known each other is very short, you have brought me a lot of surprises. It was a very happy experience cooperating with you this time. I hope we can meet again next time," Ace said with a smile.

After borrowing a ship from the King of Alabasta, Ace set off without ceremony, and soon he was no longer visible on the horizon.

Akira no longer hesitated at this time and was ready to set off directly.

A very strange-looking ship appeared on the horizon outside Alabasta. When Robin stared at the position, a trace of surprise appeared on her face, and then her whole face instantly turned gloomy.

"What's wrong?" Akira didn't understand the situation at all, so he asked directly.

Robin's fear of the world's evil was deep. When she saw the ship with her own eyes, she didn't even know what to say.

"Impossible, this is absolutely impossible." Robin's expression was full of fear, but it only left Akira and the others more confused.

"I remember this pig ship clearly. It is the exclusive ship of Aokiji, one of the three admirals of the Navy. If I guessed correctly, he himself should be here," Robin explained with wide eyes.

Green Pheasant?

That name wasn't particularly unfamiliar, but Akira never expected to encounter Aokiji himself in this place.

"The only thing we have to do when we leave here is to leave quickly. If that guy catches us, it will be impossible to escape," Robin said, her face no longer calm, her words now a full expression of panic. "We must go now!"

Akira understood Robin's fear of the Navy, but he never imagined it would extend to such an intense level. Still, it would take nearly an hour to completely leave the island, even if they started immediately.

"No matter how long it takes, we cannot waste time here! We must go to sea as quickly as possible!" Robin continued to panic. However, when she turned around, she realized that it was already too late.

It turned out that Aokiji, one of the three admirals of the Navy, had already appeared behind them.

"It's you!" Robin still couldn't calm herself and pointed an accusing finger at Aokiji.

However, the Green Pheasant remained calm and composed.

"Mr. Akira, meeting you here is quite an unexpected turn of events for me, but at this time, I must tell you everything I came here for," Aokiji said with a serene expression.

Faced with one of the three admirals of the Navy, Robin could not keep her composure, no matter how courageous she was. Her face was full of panic, and she didn't know what to do in this situation.

"Nico Robin, as one of the pirates with the highest bounty on your head, you are naturally a cancer to the entire world. But I've heard that you've chosen to side with Akira, so I won't pursue this matter any further. However, I must tell you this, Mr. Akira," Aokiji continued, his tone still calm.

Although this was not the first time Aokiji had faced this kind of situation, it made everyone else feel uneasy.

"No, who does this guy think he is, speaking so arrogantly?" Ellie finally showed her dissatisfaction.

She, once the princess of the Tenryuubito, had encountered Aokiji before. However, she was not particularly impressed by this man.

"This time we are talking to Mr. Akira alone." Aokiji continued to repeat in a tone full of displeasure.

After Akira heard this, he couldn't help but respond, "I'm really sorry, but I don't think there's any need to continue this conversation."

He thought these words were just a simple expression of defiance, but unexpectedly, the person next to Aokiji suddenly made a gesture.

It turns out that all the surrounding Navy forces had already discarded their previous targets. If anyone dared to defy Aokiji at this moment, it was entirely possible that they would be blasted to pieces by these cannons.

"I know you're very capable, but there's no way your friends can escape under such a large-scale bombardment. So, Mr. Akira, this is your only chance," Aokiji stated, his voice cold and firm.

From this, it was clear that the Navy was trying to force Akira into a corner.

Robin had already grown to despise this so-called "one of the three great admirals of the Navy," and now she was itching to rid herself of this man once and for all.

Akira, however, just wanted to protect his companions. If something unexpected happened at this moment, he would likely feel guilty for the rest of his life.

"Since you've already resorted to such despicable tactics, I naturally have no choice but to agree. If I cooperate, you won't harm Robin or the others, will you?" Akira said, his voice steady despite the pressure.

It was clear that Ellie, once considered a Celestial Dragon, was someone the Navy dared not act against rashly. Robin, too, held a special status. If Akira didn't find a way to resolve this situation now, they could all face unnecessary trouble.

"Of course, the Navy chief never speaks in vain. As long as you cooperate fully, this matter will not be difficult," Aokiji replied, his tone unwavering.

It was apparent that, given the circumstances, this was the only way forward.

Akira thought for a moment and, realizing he had no other options, finally agreed.

"Very good, Mr. Akira is a smart man," Aokiji said, his calm demeanor never faltering.
