After our first night, I—" her words stumbled on her breath, "—I could barely walk. My body needed time. But my heart…" She stepped closer, their knees brushing. "It never stopped wanting."
Kai opened his mouth, stunned. But Luna didn't let him speak.
Her hands moved in a blur. One gripped his tunic's collar. The other swept down his chest, clawtips catching armour joints like pebbles from silk. Kai wanted to stand up… She pushed him backward, firm but careful. His knees buckled, not from resistance but shock, and he landed softly against the fur lined bedding with a surprised grunt.
"Last time you were in control," she whispered, crawling over him, her breath a tickle at his ear. "Tonight... is mine."
