Chapter 131: The Man's True Identity Revealed

Just as Uchiha Dali was about to leave again for the Land of Wind, a figure suddenly landed beside them.

It was an Anbu ninja.

The Anbu ninja appeared and reported to Uchiha Dali, "Lord Fourth, Kakashi has regained consciousness. He says he has something important to report to you!"

"Oh?"

Uchiha Dali turned in surprise to look at Minato Namikaze.

Kakashi was his disciple. He had been seriously injured on the battlefield and had been staying in the Konoha Hospital.

Now that he had woken up and claimed to have something important to report, Uchiha Dali was quite intrigued.

He didn't recall Kakashi having any vital information that he himself didn't already know.

"I'll go personally," Minato said immediately upon seeing the look of puzzlement on Uchiha Dali's face.

"No need. I'll come too," Dali replied. "He's technically one of my subordinates as well."

With that, Uchiha Dali activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and teleported straight to Konoha Hospital.

Minato followed close behind.

When the two arrived at the hospital, they saw that Kakashi was indeed awake.

At that moment, he was standing on the balcony, silently staring out the window in deep thought. No one could tell what he was thinking.

"Kakashi," Minato called out.

Only then did Kakashi snap out of his thoughts and turn to face them.

"So this is Lord Fourth?" he thought to himself, curiously sizing up Uchiha Dali.

He recognized Uchiha Dali at a glance.

Back on the battlefield, Dali had once saved them.

But after that, Kakashi and the others never encountered him again.

Now seeing Uchiha Dali again, Kakashi found himself momentarily at a loss for words.

"What's on your mind, Kakashi? I heard you had something to tell me?" Uchiha Dali asked with a smile as he approached.

Hearing this, Kakashi's expression instantly became complicated.

He hesitated for a moment, first looking at Minato, then at Uchiha Dali.

After a brief silence, as if making a decision, Kakashi began muttering to himself, "If someone really did something that harmed the village, then even if he was once a comrade, I have a responsibility to correct his mistakes."

"Lord Fourth, Sensei Minato, please take a look."

As he spoke, Kakashi lifted the headband covering his eye.

Instantly, the Sharingan he had received from Obito came into view.

"I've heard about that eye, Kakashi," Minato said seriously, eyes fixed on the Sharingan. "Obito gave it to you just before he died."

From Kakashi's somewhat cryptic remarks earlier, Minato had already started to piece things together.

But speculation alone wasn't enough—he needed Kakashi to say it out loud.

At that moment, Kakashi's Sharingan changed—from a three-tomoe Sharingan to a Mangekyō Sharingan.

At the same time, he explained, "After I woke up, I learned about the recent events in the village."

"I heard there's someone possessing a Uchiha's Sharingan who attacked the village and even stole the Three-Tails."

"It all sounds chaotic, I know, but Lord Fourth, Sensei Minato—please take a look at my eye now. Does its form resemble the enemy's Sharingan that you both saw?"

He turned his head slightly to let Uchiha Dali get a clearer view of his Mangekyō Sharingan.

Truth be told, Uchiha Dali had already considered this possibility on his way to the hospital.

Given Kakashi's intelligence, once he heard about the mysterious "Uchiha" who had attacked Konoha, it wouldn't take much for him to connect the dots—especially if he compared the Mangekyō pattern seen during the attack to his own.

Now hearing Kakashi voice it aloud, Uchiha Dali examined him seriously—at least on the surface.

Then he performed a Genjutsu and projected the recorded image of his battle with Uchiha Obito.

He made sure to highlight a close-up of Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan.

The moment Kakashi saw the displayed Mangekyō pattern, his body visibly trembled.

Minato saw it clearly as well.

Kakashi's eye and the Mangekyō that Dali had just shown—they weren't just similar. They were exactly the same.

After seeing the eye, Minato wasn't particularly surprised.

He calmly said, "I had suspected from the beginning that the man might actually be who he claimed to be—Uchiha Madara."

"But I never expected… that it was actually Obito."

Hearing even his own teacher confirm that conclusion, Kakashi trembled again.

At that moment, his emotions were a mix of sorrow, confusion, and… a hint of joy.

The joy came from learning that his close friend Obito was still alive.

And not just alive—he looked full of energy, not at all like someone who had once been fatally crushed by falling rocks.

But that was also where the confusion lay.

How could Obito be alive, when he had clearly died right before Kakashi's eyes, half his body crushed?

And more than that—why, after surviving, had he not returned to the village, but instead gone rogue and even plotted against Konoha?

That was the truly painful part.

"Uchiha Obito, huh…" Uchiha Dali muttered.

"So it's that kid. The reckless one we pulled out of the cave back then."

"But honestly, the way he is now compared to back then… it's like he's a completely different person."

Kakashi and Minato both remained silent at those words.

They too were baffled by what had happened to Obito that could've caused such a drastic transformation.

"What do you plan to do about this?" Uchiha Dali asked, his gaze settling on Kakashi. "This thing you wanted to tell me—is this it?"

"If we're going to take that guy out, I won't hesitate."

"Anyone who threatens Konoha or the Uchiha Clan is my enemy."

Uchiha Dali's words pulled Kakashi and Minato out of their thoughts.

Minato stayed quiet.

He knew his student Kakashi must have something on his mind.

Sure enough, Kakashi looked directly at Uchiha Dali and said seriously, "Lord Fourth, now that we know the man is Obito, I want to be the one to handle this."

"Obito died because of us. Rin is gone now too. I need to find out what really happened to him."

Kakashi's voice was firm and resolute.
