Chapter 35 - Chapter 35

Bakugou's heart slammed against his chest as his body rolled to the floor narrowly avoiding another giant piece of concrete being thrown his way.

Kirishima had somehow managed to sneak his way out the building and should be on his way to call for help. The alarm system didn't go off but it shouldn't be long until Kirishima runs into someone that heard the commotion and comes to check it out.

"I don't need to stall till someone get here, I'll take down this thing myself"

He whispered confidently as he got to his feet and began to move while also thinking of a proper counter attack. Had he been someone that was a little level headed he would have done the opposite, simply keep the robot busy until the teacher showed up, however Bakugou had something to prove.

Taro had managed to quite easily take down a villain with relative ease and Bakugou did not believe he was any weaker than him and because of that the young man thought he could do what Taro did.

With a confident grin, and a steel in his eyes he charged towards the robot, sprinting at full speed while ducking and letting the laser beam pass over his head as he moved, with a single boost of speed using his quirk, Bakugou was launched like a rocket and reached the Robot in mere seconds.

Just as he reached it, it swung its large hand trying to swat him to the side similar to how a human would attempt to swat a fly

However much like a fly, He easily evaded the attack, the young man slid under its legs dodging the arm. He then kicked one of its legs and forcefully dropped the Robot on one knee before he got to his feet and prepared to use his quirk to blow the thing apart and turn it into scrap metal.

Unfortunately before he could accomplish such a thing the robot's upper body swung around. rotating around to face Bakugou and its arm already out ready to strike the young man's head with lethal force.

Bakugou was quick to react, blocking the oncoming strike with both his arms, however the force of the attack took him off his feet almost sending him flying, but with his quick thinking he held onto the arm, grabbing it tightly.

The robot lifted him up, an attempt to slam him on the concrete floor however it was too late, The young man stretched his arm towards the robot's head, with the palms of his hands facing forward and he let out a powerful explosion that not only destroyed the upper half of the Robot's face but also pushed Bakugou up by a meter into the air before he dropped down on top of the destroyed machine.

"You see that!! I aint not bitch!! That's what you get, you stupid Machine!"

He shouted as he stomped on the left over parts of the robot. The young man felt vindicated. He clenched his fist before his face in triumph, his victory told him that he wasn't any less stronger than Taro.

Seconds after he finished the job, Kirishima came back with a gaggle of staff members and one teacher.

"Mr Bakugou! What happened here?!"

It was Cementos that shouted and drew Bakugou's attention away from the now destroyed Robot.

The young lad quickly turned to face the people that had presumably come to his rescue, he quickly composed himself and answered the question asked.

"I don't know exactly what happened but from what I can tell, The robots malfunctioned and attacked us but I took care of it."

He answered and smirked as he said that last part of his sentence.

"Did you input any settings before you were attacked?"

Cementos asked as he placed his hand on his chin and began to think of any possible situation that could have caused the incident.

"No, Kirishima had just finished his training simulation and I was about to input mine, but all of a sudden we were attacked"

He responded and Cementos hummed, he considered the idea of a malfunction however he quickly discarded it. All the training areas, including Gym gamma, go through a monthly inspection to ensure everything is working and that there aren't any viruses on the network.

"For the time being, we'll inform Headmaster Nezu, and we'll leave this place as is for now"

He ordered, if this had happened a bit later, he would have gone to tech support so they could come and do a thorough check on everything, unfortunately the time was barely seven am, anyone who isn't a guard was not here at the moment.

The only reason he's here is because he arrived much earlier, in order to finish yesterday's work that he didn't finish.

Kirishima on the other hand, looked at the destroyed robot and wondered, if it was him that stayed behind would he have managed to destroy it like Bakugou did? The young man did not know the answer or rather he was not confident in affirming that he could defeat it.

Once again he was reminded that he was still lagging behind Both Bakugou and Taro. However he was certain that it wouldn't be for long, he just has to put in a little more work.

…..

[Hours later]

The entire class had finally arrived and the news regarding the incident had been disclosed to them, and the rest of the faculty had taken a moment to hold a meeting to discuss the incident.

The board room was as silent as a room full of birds, all the teachers of the hero course were present and seated around an oval table. They talked over each other, each person suggesting their own idea regarding what happened earlier this moment.

"It's dangerous to continue teaching at this point, the entire school is compromised"

Vlad king suggested, his voice in a low shout as he did his best to cut through all the arguing in the room.

"That would basically be announcing to them that we're onto their scheme and risk letting the villains slip away"

Present Mic's voice boomed throughout the room, cutting through all the voices that were speaking all at once, His quirk was the type that made certain that his voice was heard no matter the situation

Thanks to the loudness of present Mic's voice the rest of the teacher suddenly settled into s stunned silence and allowed for the calmest teachers to speak.

"it's still far too dangerous on the student to continue regular class schedule with the issue still unresolved, it would be irresponsible for us to continue"

Aizawa stated calmly, his voice an intense contrast to the previous shouting that everyone was doing. All the teachers were seated around an oval table, all facing towards each other to allow for easier communication.

"I think we need to do a thorough investigation and be certain that the incident at gym gamma wasn't just a malfunction but an actually targeted attack"

Midnight suggested, her brows knitted together portraying a face that shows deep consideration. At present there's zero evidence that the incident at gym gamma was done by villains, everyone was simply going off feeling and using the break in during the incident with the press as evidence that Villains were involved.

of course she doesn't think they aren't involved however, she was of the mind it's far more prudent to have concrete evidence that a villain or villains is behind this.

"Ms Nemuri is right to an extent"

Nezu, the Headmaster finally spoke, his form perched atop All Might's shoulder, providing a ridiculously contrast to the seriousness of the meeting.

The teachers held their tongues and waited for the mouse to speak, continue his thought and properly explain.

"Right now all of us are using the break from last week as evidence for the malfunction at Gym gamma, while I have no doubt that these two incidents are related, we have found zero evidence that the same villains are responsible, it's possible they sold the information they got when they broke in to other villains, so far we're the disadvantage…"

He paused and let his words settle into the room, no one spoke as they were aware that he still had more to say.

"if we close the school we risk letting the villains getting away and making it impossible to catch them and be sure they can't temper with UA network systems, however if we continue to operate as usual we risk the lives of not just hero course students but other students as well"

He finished, and after having explained the silence returned to the room and stretched for a full minute before anyone decided to speak

"So what do you suggest we do, Headmaster Nezu? both our options aren't very appealing and since we don't know even if villains were responsible for the most recent incident there's zero leads"

All Might said, his word being exactly what everyone was thinking, the situation was a little delicate and without proper leads they couldn't barge into some random villain hideout and start swinging, although All Might would much prefer to do that if he could.

"If it's not a malfunction of our system, then we just fix it however if it is villains who responsible then I have no idea what they maybe after, when they broke in last time we closed the school for a week but we didn't find a trace of them in our systems, we even did an investigation on the members of the press that were here and none of them had a quirk that could turn things to dust"

Nezu explained as he scratched the back of his head, his mind already concocting a workable idea on what to do about the situation. All of them were suspecting that this was a villain attack however they've found no evidence backing up that suspicion, even the security cameras showed nothing tangible.

"if it is a villain then they're a master mind and formidable schemer."

The missed finished before hopping off All Might's shoulder and stepping on to the table and walking towards the other end, slowly.

"Some of you are not going to like this but I think our best bet at capturing the villain that might be responsible is to resume normal class schedule"

"But Headmaster that…"

Vlad King quickly tried to interject however Nezu was quick to cut him off and explain.

"I know Vlad king however, as heroes and teachers we can't afford to let threats to the school get away and possibly come back later, we have to do with the now and as swiftly as possible"

The mouse showed a small smile as the plan had easily formed on his face.

"Then what do you suggest we do?"

The sleep deprived Aizawa questioned, his eyes carrying a scowl. He was already against the idea of letting classes continue as usual however he had a feeling the mouse had a more dangerous plan in mind.

"In the following week, you're supposed to take the class 1A students to the USJ, correct?"

Aizawa nodded and the mouse smiled, everyone in the room immediately got the gist of the plan.
