As the Ring Master's portal expanded with a mechanical grind, Menma stood tall beneath its flickering glow. XalvenoX turned immediately, the bone blade in his hand now aimed with purpose.
"You—!" he shouted, his voice warping with rage.
The blade screamed through the air.
But Menma jumped through the portal, vanishing without a trace just as the sword passed where he stood a heartbeat ago. The rift closed behind him, leaving only silence and dust.
XalvenoX stood still for a moment, staring at the space where Menma had been, then turned back toward the battered Skeleton King on the ground—only to find nothing.
He was gone.
Vanished. Taken with Menma.
A still pause hung over the lava-ridden plains before XalvenoX's face twisted in pure hate.
"BLUE HOLE!"
The air shattered.
Circling blue voids opened all across the cracked hellscape of Purgatory.
