I closed my eyes for a heartbeat and felt the power within me rising. This wasn't some magical force or energy but rather pure physical strength. My godly body—stronger than any man's—rose from level two to level three. The change hit me like a storm. My muscles tightened. My breath came easier. Pain faded away.
By the time I opened my eyes, I saw the world once again, slower than what I was used to. It wasn't much, but still noticeable. It only lasted for a heartbeat before I was back to my normal self. But the power was there. I could feel it.
Godly Body wasn't just about physical strength either. Everything in my body became better—senses to reaction time. That's why I could feel like this.
The giant took a step forward, dragging his foot through the snow. He lifted his massive arm again.
"Have it your way. Haaaa....." I shouted and charged in just like the giant in front of me.
This time, when I hit him, it was different. After once again dodging his attack thanks to my increased speed, I jumped up—this time much higher than earlier. My fist slammed into his ribs and he roared in pain, stumbling back.
I remembered Thor was able to do something similar to Hulk in the movies. While this giant was much bigger than Hulk, I doubted he was as strong as Hulk.
I didn't stop. I drove my shoulder into his chest, forcing him off balance. While coming down, I made sure to stomp his foot as hard as I could.
Needless to say, the giant staggered back.
"He ain't a Crow... crows are not like him," one of the wildlings said, breaking the silence.
The more time passed, the quieter the wildlings became. Many thought the southerner would be stomped under the giant's foot in a few minutes at best. None thought that, let alone surviving this long, the man would be making the giant stagger back and even at one point drop to his knees.
The southerner wasn't even given any weapon either—it was a death sentence in many regards. Mance at least thought that would be the case. If he wished, then there was a possibility to take the man down, but there would have been casualties by the way he easily took down a dozen of his men in that tent.
The man was crazy, there was no doubt by the way he talked. However, a strong crazy person possessed the same degree of danger. Thus, he planned this out.
Never had he thought that he'd see this. Now Mance Rayder once again started to question who this man was. Were the claims he made earlier true? Was he really not from Westeros? And more importantly, could he really help them south of the Wall?
"I'll kill anyone who opposes me and after burning their bodies take the rest to the south." Those words from this stranger now held more weight in his mind.
He continued to watch the fight in quiet contemplation while I was starting to get frustrated.
I ducked under a wide swing and slammed my fist into his side. The giant grunted, dropping to one knee, but quickly pushed himself back up.
The giant growled and threw a wild punch. I leapt over it, spun, and landed a hard strike to his side again. Then another to his back. He stumbled.
But even now, he didn't fall. His thick fur and leather armor protected much of his body. My blows were stronger now—far stronger—but I still couldn't finish the fight.
"Targeting only his legs and lower body won't do..." I muttered with a little irritation as I looked up to his face.
The head. That's where I needed to hit.
But how? His head was so high, out of reach unless I could make him... I pondered, and then my head snapped to the still slightly lingering figure of the giant.
That's when it struck me. I had already struck his right knee twice before. He limped slightly on that leg now.
One more time would be the charm, I guess.
Just as I was ready to rush, I saw the giant march up to a small tree and start to uproot it out of the ground.
"Oh no... where is your martial virtue..." Cursing, I rushed at him.
I was late. He already had the tree in his arms, swinging its trunk at me.
Gritting my teeth, I increased my speed as best I could and just as I was about to get hit, dropped down. I slid forward, missing the newfound club by the troll so that I could go for its nose. Perhaps Harry Potter anthology will make it harder to understand, but that's all I could think.
I threw a fake punch to the gut, then twisted and slammed my fist into the same damaged knee with all the strength I could muster. The giant howled in pain this time around—no more low growls—his leg giving out completely. He dropped down, both knees in the snow now.
Ah, I certainly remember Elden Ring by the setting. If only this was a fire giant with a big fucking eye on his stomach. Though I guess that could be bad for me, since that boss had two phases, which is the last thing I need right now.
As soon as he was on his knees, I leapt up, using all my strength to launch myself upward. The giant raised his arm to block, but I was faster.
I joined my hands together to make a bigger impact and even channelled my limited lightning power— in the absence of Mjolnir—into my fists and then brought both my fists down hard on his head.
Thm...
A sound of skull breaking must have been heard, or I can't explain why others were making those horrified faces.
The hit made the giant cry out—long gone were the angry howls and growls. With every bit of strength I had—cracked across his temple with a sound like thunder.
The giant's eyes rolled back. His massive body swayed.
And then—with a loud crash—he fell backwards and didn't get up.
I felt heat rising inside my body. This was the first time I pushed my body this much in a fight. Doing that even in training was hard enough, let alone in a fight.
My breath was laboured, but to my amazement, I was catching them back to order fairly quickly.
The wildlings were silent once again. None made any sound. Like watching something so unprecedented that they just refused to believe it.
I just stood in the snow, chest heaving. My fists showed some bruises from that last attack. Looking at everyone around me, I could see that they were now afraid. A man who was as strong as a giant while still possessing the nimbleness and cunning of a man.
I just won against a giant single-handedly without any weapon on me. That was worthy enough to generate fear in anyone's heart.

I ignored the system message and once again turned to the wildlings. This was the time. I knew it after looking at them.
"I'm Thor Odinson..." I shouted while looking at all of them.
"I'm not a Crow..."
"And I HAVE A DREAM..."
