"Ricky, you can not be here," Sandy said, still surprised to see him there standing at her doorstep.
She glanced behind her. To look back at Cyrus who was still focused on his food, and thankfully unaware of the tension crackling outside.
Her heartbeat steadied a little.
"I came to see you here,Sandy," Ricky said, his voice low and steady, as if just seeing that she was okay brought him some measure of peace.
He had to see her. After leaving the club last night, he had tried to forget about her the only way he knew how.

"So, you are definitely coming with me back to my place?" Ricky had asked, flashing his most practiced, charming smile. Like so many other ladies before her, the woman at the bar had immediately melted at the sight.
