Just as a fight was about to break out between the two, the heavens split apart and a massive hand descended from above.
All three of them looked up in terror, even the Beast God trembling with fear.
"A god?" he wondered aloud. "Did the Sage send someone else? No, how can they get in here with such power?"
On the other hand, Li Yao's eyes brightened with recognition.
"Husband!" she called out, rushing towards the enormous hand.
"Husband?" the Beast God asked in shock. He then remembered what he was about to do and let out a deep sigh.
"How did things end up like this?" he muttered as he knelt before Li Yao, who now held a slime in her hands.
"Husband, did something change? You look a little different," Li Yao said, tilting her head.
"Yeah, I'm not in my human form anymore," he replied, wondering if she was really being serious.
"Ah, so that's it!" she said with excitement.
