Chapter 162 - Chapter 162 Fierce Battle Orochimaru

Different from the original timeline.

In the original timeline, the Third Hokage abdicated after the end of the Third Great Ninja War.

Namikaze Minato, who had repeatedly achieved great military feats during the war, was appointed as his successor.

The reasons for Hiruzen Sarutobi's abdication were complex, but the main one was his appeasement policy during the war.

Despite leading Konoha to victory, the Third Hokage showed no aggressiveness—he didn't demand reparations or leverage power.

Instead, he chose reconciliation with the other major powers.

This deeply dissatisfied the more militant faction within the village, ultimately forcing his abdication.

As for Minato, by then, he had already earned enough fame and support.

But this world is different.

Ever since Simu appeared, the course of the Third Great Ninja War changed completely.

Almost every battle Konoha fought against other villages ended in total destruction for the enemy.

And yet, Konoha itself suffered little to no damage.

On the contrary, Simu's terrifying power and overwhelming combat record caused deep concern in the Daimyō's court.

Internally, many in Konoha began to doubt Hiruzen Sarutobi—especially regarding his relations with the Daimyō's government.

Minato, who was supposed to succeed as Hokage, found himself overshadowed by Simu.

Despite Minato's outstanding achievements, they paled in comparison to Simu's.

So, if Hiruzen were to step down, the one who would benefit most…

Would not be Minato.

It would be Hanyu Simu, known as the Golden Flash, the Twin Dragon of Konoha.

Facing Orochimaru's questioning, Tong Kun simply scratched his head.

"I don't know anything."

"I don't understand your schemes or whatever."

He opened his palm, revealing the golden Totsuka Sword (Tian Congyun Sword) in his hand.

Orochimaru's narrowed eyes glinted with danger.

"Boy… do you really think you have me cornered?"

With a swift motion, he raised both arms—two massive serpents burst out and lunged toward Simu.

Simu casually stepped back and, as if strolling through a park, sliced both serpents cleanly in half.

"A legendary Sannin, and this is all you've got?"

he said with a faint smile.

Provoked, Orochimaru hissed, his tongue flicking like a serpent's.

"Hiss… Disrespecting your elders, huh? People like you usually die horribly."

Orochimaru's eyes gleamed with fanaticism and greed as they locked onto Simu's body.

If only… he could use that body for his experiments…

His obsession grew.

He had noticed the uniqueness of Simu's fighting style years ago.

But now, with Simu's strength skyrocketing beyond his expectations, taking him down had become impossible.

Still, Simu had become Orochimaru's most coveted experimental subject—even more than a Sharingan host!

Even if he was Jiraiya's disciple...

Licking his lips with his snake-like tongue, Orochimaru sneered coldly.

Time to act.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

He launched a single shuriken first—then dozens, then hundreds.

Shadow Clones multiplied the projectiles into a storm of steel, falling like a torrential downpour upon Simu.

This A-rank jutsu, developed by Hiruzen Sarutobi himself, was a testament to its lethality.

But Simu remained calm.

Blue, steel-like dragon scales began to emerge across his skin.

His body expanded rapidly, growing to a towering height of seven meters.

Each shuriken struck him, but only sparked harmlessly against the hardened scales.

"What a fascinating body… it must be dissected properly,"

Orochimaru muttered, his voice trembling with desire.

In his eyes, Simu's body was a treasure—far more valuable than even the Uchiha clan's Sharingan!

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb!"

"Wind Style: Gale Burst!"

Fiery flames burst from Orochimaru's mouth, instantly caught and amplified by a violent gust of wind, turning into a sea of fire that devoured the surrounding trees.

When it came to ninjutsu—and especially forbidden techniques—Orochimaru's skills rivaled even his teacher's.

Sarutobi Hiruzen, the "Professor of Ninjutsu," would have nodded in approval.

Using wind to enhance fire, Orochimaru had made the jutsu exponentially deadlier.

The roaring inferno surged toward Simu.

"As expected of one of the Sannin… what incredible firepower,"

Simu muttered with admiration.

The battle reminded him of his squad's graduation test.

Back then, it was Jiraiya standing across from him.

Now, it was Orochimaru.

Simu reached behind him and pulled out a scroll.

He injected chakra into it—summoning the weapon sealed within: the Eight Fast Swords (Hassai no Ken).

This wasn't some tool made by Konoha's craftsmen.

It was the real deal—a weapon forged in the same world as Kaido.

As the flames of revolution blazed, the power in Simu's hands surged.

While in the Rain Country, Simu faced Sand Shinobi, Rock Shinobi, and Rain Shinobi at the same time.

This also made Kaido's imitation value skyrocket.

It had now reached a staggering 59%.

The mace, named Eight Fasts, in his hand was his reward for reaching 50% of his imitation value.

Both in terms of material and power, it far surpassed Konoha's most sophisticated ninja tools.

He raised the mace, Eight Fasts, and slashed hard in front of him.

The massive Armament Haki vented out, cutting through the sea of flames like a sharp sword.

Orochimaru's eyelids twitched.

Although he knew there was no way to kill Simu instantly with this kind of attack, he was still surprised that it had been cracked so easily.

Simu was just about to move.

A dozen white snakes emerged from the ground.

Orochimaru didn't try to use the white snakes to break through Simu's defenses and inject venom into his body.

Let's not even talk about whether these white snakes could break the defense.

From Konoha's intel, it was known that Simu had shown his immunity to venom more than once.

That's why these white snakes had dense detonating tags attached to their bodies.

They exploded the moment they emerged from the ground.

Violent flames and explosions tore the ground apart.

Simu tore through the smoke with his dragon claws, escaping the explosion.

His burly body was just covered in some smoke and dust.

Such an explosion wasn't enough to harm Simu.

Orochimaru was not discouraged, though.

His neck jerked as he shot in Simu's direction.

Orochimaru's elongation was reflected in Simu's eyes.

A look of disgust appeared on Simu's face.

The mace in his hand fell instantly.

With immense force, the sharp fangs on the iron rod tore Orochimaru's head apart.

Simu's expression remained unchanged.

If that could kill him, then Orochimaru wouldn't be Orochimaru.

Sure enough, Orochimaru's head exploded like jelly.

But that nasty, sticky feeling still hadn't gone away.

Immediately, a new head grew back from Orochimaru's broken neck.

Thick bodily fluid dripped from Orochimaru's head.

"Hiss..."

The purple eye shadow on his face gave an extremely unsettling feeling.

His mouth opened at an anti-human angle, and ten long swords spat out from his mouth.

At some point, the ground beneath Simu's feet had turned into a sea of snakes.

Tens of thousands of white snakes wrapped around his feet, body, and even his neck.

He looked like a victim who had sunk into the ocean.

"Illusion?" Simu smiled dismissively.

Dark red lightning flashed in his eyes.

The terrifying Conqueror's Haki poured out.

The white snakes wrapped around his body instantly disappeared in the thunder.

The sea of snakes beneath his feet collapsed under the weight of his Haki!

Orochimaru's pupils contracted, surprised that Simu was able to break free of his illusion so quickly.

Simu came back to his senses.

He felt a threat from the long sword in Orochimaru's mouth.

If nothing else, this sword should be the legendary Kusanagi sword.

But there were many Kusanagi swords in the ninja world.

Their functions varied.

Sharp, elongated, and even sealed.

As one of the Sannin of Konoha, Orochimaru knew all the apparent abilities of his tools.

Given this, Simu knew that ordinary physical attacks should be useless against him...

Then, there must be something strange about this sword!

Simu didn't choose to make a direct confrontation, but instead turned into a flash and appeared behind Orochimaru in a circle.

Eight Fasts smashed down heavily.

A look of disappointment flashed in Orochimaru's eyes.

Then his body was torn apart by the iron rod.

But soon, he was reborn from the sea of snakes in the distance.

"What a troublesome ability."

Simu narrowed his eyes.

Orochimaru also marveled at Simu's terrifying power.

If he could get Simu's body, plus his own Undead Five...

Hum...

Simu saw the greed in Orochimaru's eyes.

Eight Fasts swung heavily, and Armament Haki formed a thick central pillar, blasting toward the sea of snakes.

"Overlord!"

The dreaded Haki seemed to destroy everything.

Wherever it went, whether it was rocks, trees, or white snakes, everything was instantly destroyed.

The dust spread.

The ground beneath Simu's feet suddenly cracked.

A thick purple snake opened its mouth and bit Simu.

Complaining while attacking.

"Orochimaru, you actually asked me to deal with this kid. You'll have to pay more!"

Orochimaru had a grim smile on his face.

"Two thousand boys."

Wan Snake licked the corner of his mouth with his snake-like tongue and said with satisfaction:

"Deal!"

The mouth, like an abyss, tried to swallow Simu.

Simu opened his hands and firmly supported the snake's jaws.

Then, stepping on the air with both feet, his whole body soared into the sky like a rocket.

His body suddenly swelled.

Then, under the hungry eyes of Orochimaru, he transformed into a terrifying dragon hundreds of meters long, coiling in the sky!
