I sat looking at Zoro. When he didn't say anything, it was because he was either thinking about something or nothing. I stood up and picked Henry up from his crib to feed him. "I know you, Zoro. Something is on your mind. If you don't want to say it, then leave. I guess you've made your choice. The next time the ship lands, Henry and I will leave."
Zoro blinked and fell to his knees, grabbing my hand. He knew that, realizing that if I were to leave with Henry, everything would be lost for good. "Pretty Kitty, please wait, I can't live with you. You know that."
I hesitated for a moment. I didn't know what to think. I knew that in my heart, Zoro wouldn't do anything to hurt this family, but what I saw in my vision couldn't help but change my mind. "Zoro, please tell me this isn't true. I need to know that what I saw during my panic attack isn't real."
Zoro nodded. "Of course it isn't true. I would never do anything to hurt this family."
I sighed, not saying anything.
Luffy and the others joined us on the deck a few minutes later. Luffy approached me and Henry, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Kat, the crew, and I don't want you and Henry to leave. We've all been through so much together and fought so many battles."
I removed his hand from my shoulder. "I'm sorry, Luffy. This is my decision. I need you to understand this."
Luffy hugged me. "Kat, we are family. Give my crew and me one more chance in this. We can work this out."
I shook my head. "I am grateful for everything you've done for me, Luffy. You've given me a life that I never dreamed of."
Robin came over to me. "Kat, can I talk to you for a moment?"
I looked at her. "What do you want, Robin? I have nothing to say to you."
Robin sighed. "Kat, I need you to listen to me. It was never my intent to steal Zoro from you. I'm sorry if you feel like that. If there is anything that I can do to make it up to you, I will."
I didn't look at her. There was nothing that I could say to her. What can I say to her that I've already said? I don't want to do this, but I have no choice. The Order was the only place that I felt like I belonged. I left it to build a new life for Henry. To explore the world with Zoro and the others. I looked at Henry, who was sleeping in my arms. He had his favorite teddy bear in his arms. I smiled.
Chealse could tell what I planned on doing once the ship made port on the next island. She ran over to me and shook me hard. "Kat! You can't be serious! If you go back to the Order, you and Henry will be killed."
I looked at her. "Chealse, what choice do I have?"
"COME ON, KAT! WAKE UP! THIS ISN'T YOU! THE KAT I KNOW WOULDN'T JUST GIVE UP ON HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS, NOR WOULD SHE GIVE UP ON ZORO! PLEASE GIRL, COME BACK TO ME, ZORO, AND EVERYONE ON THIS SHIP!"
I removed her hand from my shoulder. I looked at her, my face stone-cold with no emotion. Any show of love or happiness has gone from my face. Although I wanted to stay, there was nothing that could change my mind about what I had chosen to do. I finally spoke after a long, stony silence. "Chealse, this is my decision. I am aware that everyone on this ship wants me to stay. But I cannot be part of a crew that wishes for their historian to be with the man I thought was loyal. This Chealse, is goodbye."
