"Welcome, honored guests, to our Tian Hai Auction House. May I ask what you are looking to purchase?"

Inside the room, behind a desk, stood an old man with white hair and beard. Yet his skin was smooth and unwrinkled, his face glowing with vitality. He rose to his feet, smiling warmly, and gestured for them to sit.

Wei Yang stepped forward, sat down on the sofa in front of the desk, and spoke directly: "I need a map. A detailed map of Central Plains. At the very least, it must cover the path from the Northern Region to the Central Region. The more detailed, the better."

"Also, I need a map specifically of Fallen God Stream in the Central Region."

At these words, a faint gleam flashed through the smiling eyes of the old man. His gaze swept subtly over Wei Yang and his companions. These people… their strength was clearly far above his own. Each one of them gave him an oppressive feeling.

They were all true powerhouses! That thought made him instantly far more cautious.

The old man slowly sat back down, leaning slightly forward, his tone becoming respectful: "The Central Plains is vast and boundless. A map that is overly detailed—we truly do not have. Not only us, but I believe no force in this entire region has such a thing."

"However, we do have a simplified version. It covers the locations of Central Plains's major top-tier forces, the cities with spatial wormholes, as well as famous mountains, rivers, and notorious perilous regions. Its value is also extremely high."

"As for the detailed map of Fallen God Stream mentioned by the guest, our auction house does not have that. At best, we can provide you with a general location."

"If I wanted to inquire about the specific location of a Rank 7 magic beast, then?" Wei Yang asked.

"Honored guest, I must remind you—that is very dangerous. Central Plains is unlike other regions. Magic beast clans mostly live in large groups, united like our human clans. If you provoke one, you risk dragging the entire group into conflict.

Some clans are unimaginably powerful. A Rank 7 magic beast already stands among the high ranks of their kind. Our Tian Hai Auction House cannot afford to offend them." The old man shook his head firmly as he spoke.

"I understand that. I'm not looking to provoke an entire beast clan." Wei Yang chuckled softly, "The magic beast I want to inquire about is the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast."

"Oh? Or, if your auction house happens to have a Rank 7 Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast's magic core, that would be even better."

"Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast?" The old man blinked in surprise, then visibly relaxed, though he frowned slightly a moment later.

After a brief silence, he let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head: "I'm sorry, honored guest. The Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast was scarce to begin with.

Its temperament is cruel and violent—to the point that, in its madness, even its own kind could not tolerate it. Thus, it never formed large clans, and it disappeared from Central Plains long ago."

"Nowadays, even traces of low-ranked Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beasts are nearly impossible to find, let alone one of Rank 7."

He shook his head again. "Such a magic core, our auction house does not have. And as for this beast itself, even if one exists, it would be hiding deep within poisonous swamps or treacherous mountains. We have no information on its whereabouts."

"I see." Wei Yang clicked his tongue in mild frustration. It looked like he would indeed have to make a trip to Fallen God Stream himself.

But with Fallen God Stream being so vast, who knew if he could actually find the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast there?

"Fine then. I'll just buy the map." Wei Yang exhaled lightly and spoke.

The old man nodded, picked up a brush, and jotted down Wei Yang's request on a piece of paper. He blew the ink dry, then stood and opened a small hidden door behind him, placing the paper inside.

"The Central Plains map and the information regarding Fallen God Stream have both been noted." The old man turned back with a smile, "The maps will be sent shortly. Please wait a moment."

"Mm." Wei Yang gave a faint acknowledgment and closed his eyes to rest.

Ten minutes later.

Ding ding ding.

The small bell hanging by the hidden door jingled crisply. The hidden door opened, and a tray was pushed out.

"They're here." The old man quickly got up, took the tray, and brought it back to place before Wei Yang, smiling, "Please, honored guest, check if these meet your satisfaction."

Wei Yang opened his eyes.

On the tray lay a rolled-up beast-hide scroll, thick in appearance. He reached out, picked it up, and unfurled it.

Upon spreading it open, he saw that the beast hide was thin yet remarkably tough—clearly of fine quality.

The map itself was large enough that it couldn't even fit fully on the desk. Wei Yang only spread a portion, his eyes sweeping across it. At a glance, it seemed acceptable. He nodded, rolled it back up, and said, "Alright, I'll take it. How much?"

"Eight hundred thousand gold coins." The old man chuckled and raised five fingers.

Wei Yang didn't mind. He waved his hand casually.

Behind him, Ah Da stepped forward and handed over a storage ring. Once the transaction was complete, Wei Yang put away the map and stood up.

The old man quickly rose as well, respectfully offering a special card: "Honored guest, this is our auction house's VIP card. In three days, our annual grand auction will be held. Among the finale items are Earth Class Dou Techniques and peak Tier 6 Pills. If you're not in a hurry to leave, we sincerely invite you to attend."

"Oh." Wei Yang responded lightly, taking the card with little interest before turning and leaving.

Earth Class Dou Techniques, peak Tier 6 Pills… to him, they weren't the least bit tempting.

Inside a quiet courtyard.

Within a room.

The Central Plains map was spread flat across the ground. It looked almost like a world map, depicting the vast territory of Central Plains. The locations of the major top-tier powers were specially marked.

One Hall, One Tower, Two Sects, Three Valleys, Four Pavilions.

Of course, the "Hall" was Hall of Souls—its exact location was, unsurprisingly, not indicated. But aside from Hall of Souls, all the other top powers were marked.

At the same time, the cities with spatial wormholes were also recorded on the map. Simple lines linked these cities together, representing each spatial wormhole route.

At the very center of the map stood the symbol of a tall tower.

That was the Pill Tower.

Wei Yang and his companions gathered around the map, their eyes scanning across it. Aside from Ah Da, everyone's face carried a trace of awe.

The countless tiny black dots—each one representing a city with a spatial wormhole—were densely packed across the map.

Just from this, one could see how boundless Central Plains truly was.

Wei Yang extended his hand, pointing toward a small fingernail-sized spot in the northern part of the Central Region, specially marked with blood-red characters: "Our next destination is here—Fallen God Stream."

"Coincidentally, our path to the Pill Tower also passes through the northern Central Region. A slight change in direction, and we'll pass right by it."

"Brother Yang, is there really a Rank 7 Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast in this Fallen God Stream?" Xian'er asked expectantly.

"They say that place is filled with endless ravines, unfathomably deep, with poisonous mists everywhere. Countless venomous creatures lurk within." Wei Yang thought for a moment before answering, "I believe there's a high chance the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast exists there."

"Mm. If Brother Yang says there's a high chance, then there must be." Xian'er smiled sweetly, as if she had unquestionable faith in him.

"I'm only guessing. I can't be certain. Besides, the interior of Fallen God Stream is vast, with ravines crisscrossing endlessly. Even if a Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast exists, finding it won't be easy."

Wei Yang smiled, habitually reaching out to rub her head. His tone grew serious: "But don't worry. No matter the cost, I will definitely find you a Rank 7 Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast's magic core."

Xian'er didn't reply. She simply stared at Wei Yang in a daze, her lips curving into a soft, blissful smile. The affection in her eyes nearly overflowed.

Wei Yang chuckled, pinching her cheek dotingly. Then his gaze returned to the map, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Young Master, should we still attend that auction?" Qing Lin asked.

"No interest." Wei Yang shook his head. "We'll rest tonight. Tomorrow morning, we set out for the Central Region."
