The strange Ice and Fire pool lay still before him.
Sun Zhongjing, who had descended from the sky, stood at the edge of the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire. He could feel the terrifying energy fluctuations emanating from it. Around the small lake, plants grew in wild profusion, and the Blue Silver Emperor in his hand radiated excitement.
He released his divine sense, scanning the entire area surrounding the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire, searching for the most suitable place to plant the Blue Silver Emperor.
As a neutral plant, the Blue Silver Emperor had to be planted where the cold and hot springs met. Only there could it thrive and grow to its fullest potential.
After a thorough scan, Sun Zhongjing's divine sense locked onto the ideal spot.
With a gentle stomp of his foot, the soil at that location turned over by itself, forming a small pit.
He lightly tossed the Blue Silver Emperor forward. Guided by an invisible force, the fragile blade of grass floated softly through the air like a balloon and drifted toward its destination.
Bang.
The Blue Silver Emperor's roots dropped into the pit with a soft thud.
Immediately, the surrounding soil gathered on its own, covering its roots.
The Blue Silver Emperor's leaves began to sway. Through his divine sense, Sun Zhongjing could feel her joy. The golden lines on her leaves seemed to come alive, rippling like water as they pulsed with golden light.
The leaves, initially only a foot long, grew at a speed visible to the naked eye—soon reaching two feet before halting.
Even so, the effects of the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire were immediate.
Sun Zhongjing could sense that the Blue Silver Emperor's once-ignorant consciousness had significantly advanced in that short span. If she had the mind of a one-year-old before, she now had the mind of a two-year-old.
"At this rate, she'll return to 100,000 years in about a hundred years…" he estimated silently, observing the plant's development.
A hundred years was extraordinarily fast. This was due not only to the environment of the Treasure Basin itself—already a paradise for plants—but also because the Blue Silver Emperor had once been a 100,000-year-old soul beast. With such a foundation, her path forward was far smoother than that of ordinary spirit plants.
Although soul beasts measure strength in years, that doesn't mean they must physically live that long. They could absorb external energy instinctively or consume rare treasures rich in energy to boost their cultivation.
That's why soul beasts with powerful bloodlines could become 100,000-year-old soul beasts in just hundreds or thousands of years.
Otherwise, if time alone were the only way to advance, soul beasts would've been hunted to extinction long ago.
"A hundred years... that's still too long."
Sun Zhongjing frowned. His original plan had been to cultivate the Blue Silver Emperor into a god within ten years. A hundred years? He had no patience for that.
In a hundred years, he'd be invincible just by publishing quizzes and roleplaying gods. Why would he even need the Blue Silver Emperor then?
Did they really think he was drawn here by Ah Yin's beauty?
How could I, Ye Cheng, be a lustful person?
"Is there any way to speed up her growth?" Sun Zhongjing began flipping through his memories. How had Ah Yin regained her 100,000 years of cultivation in the original?
It was the Blue Silver Domain—combined with the power of the Sea God. Those two elements had been the key.
He didn't possess the Blue Silver Domain, but he had the power. Could he substitute the domain with something else?
As this thought struck him, far away in Baiyun City, Ye Cheng instantly opened a spatial rift and stepped through it. A moment later, he appeared at the Yin-Yang Eye.
Upon arrival, Ye Cheng closed his eyes and released his divine sense. It rapidly spread across the entire basin, through the mountain walls, and out into the Sunset Forest.
In a flash, the entire forest was enveloped by his consciousness.
He recalled how Tang San had used the Blue Silver Domain to draw in the life energy of surrounding Blue Silver Grass, then combined it with the Sea God's Light to help Ah Yin grow rapidly.
Understanding the principle made it easy. Ye Cheng, now a god, could replicate it—better, even. After all, he was a god in many respects. There was nothing he couldn't do.
One of the abilities he gained after becoming a god was control over plants. He could accelerate growth, wither them, or mold them into any form.
Now, with his divine sense blanketing the Sunset Forest, Ye Cheng activated that divine power—every plant, from towering trees to hidden grasses, even plant-type soul beasts, began to respond.
Each plant gave up a small portion of its life force. Not enough to harm them, but just a little.
Yet when billions of plants each contributed a little, the resulting vitality was immense—boundless as the sea!
The entire forest glowed green, a sea of verdant light.
Countless motes of green life force, like stars, converged toward the Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire at the center of the forest.
Under Ye Cheng's precise control, all that pure vitality surged into the Blue Silver Emperor. With divine power to harmonize it, the Blue Silver Emperor absorbed the energy smoothly, her cultivation rising rapidly.
All across the Sunset Forest, soul beasts hunkered down in fear. The overwhelming aura blanketing the region made them tremble. The massive influx of life energy had turned the forest into a zone of awe-inspiring pressure.
Bathed in this endless vitality, the Blue Silver Emperor's small form swelled rapidly, growing at a geometric rate. Her blades of grass shimmered like sapphire, the golden lines thickening, glowing more intensely.
The once-fragmented soul within her also surged with strength, evolving at a staggering pace. As a former 100,000-year soul beast, her instincts and cultivation experience were engraved into her soul—even if her memories were gone.
That knowledge remained. Her growth was not chaotic but natural.
The incomplete soul was rapidly piecing itself back together—revived, reborn, and rejuvenated.
