When Li Bin shook Yu Yinyan's hand, he scoped out her system intro in detail.

Yu Yinyan's a solid chick—too good a girl to end up with Du Bin. It'd be like sticking a flower in a pile of shit.

Li Bin secretly decided saving this lost chick was his damn duty.

"Shen Yun, Jianjun, come on in, sit a sec—food's almost ready."

Right then, Shen Han stepped out, eyeing the Mercedes with envy, forcing a smile as she waved everyone in.

They all filed inside. Once they'd settled on the couch, Du Jianjun gave Li Bin a hard stare and barked, "Little Bin, still scribbling that online novel crap? Heard from your father-in-law you still ain't got a real job."

"Yeah, still writing." Li Bin nodded.

"Huh? My brother-in-law's a writer? What've you written? I'm into online novels too." Hearing Li Bin wrote online stuff, Yu Yinyan perked up fast and asked him.

"Writer? That counts as a writer? He's not even a real one—on the internet, they call guys like you… what was it… oh! 'Flop writers'!" Du Bin straight-up mocked Li Bin, no filter.

"Little Bin! You can't keep hiding at home, leeching off your folks! If it's not working out, come pack boxes at our factory—pay's not much, but beats writing books." Shen Yun chimed in, all high and mighty, like she was doing Li Bin a damn favor.

"Nah, no need—I think writing's fine." Li Bin smirked, brushing it off chill.

"Fine? You're fine! But your in-laws and wife ain't! You know what people say about you? You've really dragged the Wen family's name through the mud!" Du Jianjun didn't hold back, dripping with contempt for Li Bin.

"Some people, not up here or down there, talk about chasing dreams, but they're just lazy bums living off their parents." Du Bin piled on, loving his own snarky digs.

"Whoa, bro-in-law, you got an LV belt! New model, huh? They already knockin' this off in Putian? If you're broke, don't front—wearing a fake just makes you a joke." After roasting Li Bin, Du Bin didn't let up, hitting his belt too, voice oozing superiority and shade.

Du Bin's words instantly soured Wen Wan and Wen Lan's faces as they brought out tea.

Wen Wan, used to getting punked by her richer little sister's family, felt helpless.

Wen Lan, though pissed inside, knew Li Bin's belt was legit—she wanted to clap back but held off, waiting for Li Bin to drop the truth and smack these fools down.

Li Bin's brow twitched. He wasn't gonna bother with this family originally—planned to grab a Maybach later and roll up to rub it in their faces.

Now, though, Li Bin was starting to lose his cool.

"Cousin, how you gonna say I'm living off my folks? At least what I spend's mine—you still ain't worked a day. Think the one leeching off parents is you."

Li Bin eyed Du Bin, grinning calm: "Maybe you should hit the factory first."

"So what if I live off my folks! My family's got a factory—I don't gotta work. What you got? What's your family got? If you had cash, you wouldn't be a kept son-in-law." Du Bin got stung by Li Bin's words, his voice ramping up.
