Because of his long absence from the university, Micah had been forced to rearrange his academic schedule. The sudden change had not been something he could avoid. Too many of his classes required full attendance, and others depended on group projects or workshop assignments that required consistent participation and completed design work. Missing weeks of classes had made it impossible for him to keep up with those requirements.
In the end, he had no choice but to drop several majors temporarily. The revised schedule looked embarrassingly empty compared to before. While other students rushed between lectures, assignments, and deadlines, Micah suddenly had far too much free time on his hands.
