"Not yours?"
Taylor's voice carried unmistakable surprise. Sinclair parted his thin lips.
"The Thomas family."
The Thomas family?
Taylor fell silent for a few seconds, piecing everything together in his mind before realization dawned.
Though the Thomas family couldn't rival the Harrison family in power, they were by no means weak.
As a pawn to counter Harrison family, they were the perfect choice.
"Sinclair, you really do think ten steps ahead," Taylor remarked with genuine admiration, his tone laced with amusement.
"Sometimes, I can't help but admire you."
"Only sometimes?"
Sinclair's lips curled slightly. "Seems I still have plenty of room for improvement." "This is more than enough," Taylor replied, playing along with his friend's rare dark humor.
"If you improve any further, Calvin and I might as well pack up our families and leave San Francisco altogether."
