"Madam," Luke called back almost immediately.
"I knocked for quite a while, but Miss Tiffany didn't respond."
Without Madam's permission, he didn't dare take any further action.
No response.
Since Fanny lived alone, she had always been a light sleeper.
Under normal circumstances, this situation would never occur.
Camilla's fingers tightened around her phone, her voice turning noticeably colder.
"Use the passcode I'll give you—open the door immediately and check inside."
"Understood."
Camilla relayed the code to Tiffany's apartment.
Luke entered it without hesitation, and the door clicked open.
"Madam, Miss Tiffany isn't home," Luke stepped inside, flicked on the lights, and scanned the room.
His fingers brushed over the thin layer of dust on the entryway table and dining surface before he checked the electricity meter.
A flicker of understanding passed through his eyes.
"To be precise, she hasn't been back for at least three or four days."
